Is Ninety Nine Nights really worth buying???

I would say it is probably short-medium. It doesn't take amazingly long to finish the game, but it may take a while to get the full 1000 if you are looking for that.

If you just wanted to finish the story then it is short, but if you want to play the game, have fun and try and get good at the game then it is medium.

If you are unsure then rent it and choose whether or not to buy it after that.

It's a medium length game. I enjoyed it a lot, worth buying and it is really underrated. The cut scenes are amazing, and the story is very good if you actually pay attention.

Short story, no.. The game has an absolutely terrible story, and if a button mashing game doesn't have a good story then It's usually pretty hard to play through.

I bought it the day it was released and didn't get into it until last week. I would say there are four other games like this on the 360 (Samurai Warrios 2, Samurai Warriors 2 Empires, Dynasty Warriors 4 (Japan) and Dynasty Warriors 5). This is clearly heads above those.

The problem with tyru is that her dash is ineffective and her attacks lack punch, so you'll have to block (LT). It's a bit absurd, because you actually never used this command with any of the other characters, so I had a tough time getting adjusted to it before I realized she could effectively block ANY attack. Once you understand it, the rest of her missions is a pushover (except that thing with the traps later on, which is a bitch and will test your patience for this so-so game).

This game is horribly underrated and you need to pick this up. You'll have it beat in a couple weeks of casual playing but leveling up will take longer. Even if you don't do it all right away, you'll want to come back from time to time later on because of the gameplay, something you can't do if you just rent it.

Inphyy's last level is the hardest in the game. The checkpoints are so far away from each other in this game. That makes it even worse.

This game in my opinion is not worth purchasing. While at first it will trick you into thinking how cool it is you will soon discover how repetitive and tedious it becomes and the achievements were a pain in the rear to get. Not that they were all that hard just took a long time. You are much better off renting this one.

And I suggest playing with some music and turn the sound down because the voice acting is some of the worst I've ever heard.

Great game to mow down thousands of enemies, got it for $20 off of ebay and haven't regretted the purchase yet. The main thing that i could see pissin people off is there are no mid mission saves, so if you die about 20 min from a boss you gotta start ALL over again...Dwingvatt FTW!!!!

anyone who says this game is hard shouldnt be playing video games! i rented this game cuz i wasnt sure if i would like it on thursday and i have played it maybe 15 hrs and i have 500 acheivment points all missions at a except 1 and everyone at level 7 or more except vigk vagk is at 5 and inphyy and aspharr are at 8, also only had 3 missions at rank B. this game is great and i really dont think its repetitive because theres 7 different characters with different combos that improve as you level up different stories different moves different special orb attacks etc. and all the missions have their specific goals that you have to complete. so it may be repetitive if all you do is x atk and nothing else, but then if you did that you wont get very far in the game. ok well thats my opinion hope it helps.

i just got about 600 GS and got so bored....really...it's so repetitive....it's just like any other hack and slash game.....dynasty warriors was better IMO....but idk...this MIGHT be worth a rent if you want a few hours of so-so fun and some achievement points...but it is DEFINITELY NOT worth a buy lol

I got it the day it released along with the guide and I'm still at 0 on it, lol. I really like the game, I just keep getting sidetracked due to other console games, a couple mmos I wasted time with and my limited free time & wife. It seems like I'll never do anything with it, but I don't sell my games back...I have like 75 360 games, quite a few unopened that maybe I'll get around to at some point :P

yes well worth it, IF you can put the time to finish it. it will take you about 18 hours to get 800 points if you are decent at the game and then prob 25 total for all 1000. i actually rented it and then just paid the 20 bucks to keep it but i really should have just bought it cuz i dont even have the box for it and thats lame !

It's totally worth it...Finally not a car racing, FPS or shooting game. It has nice graphics fair achievments well except for a couple missions you need to make A :D But it's alright, fun and good gameplay...

If you want to get all the achievements, you'll need to rent it a couple of times. Some of them are really time consuming. I can't see much replay value once you get everything. You have to play every mission multiple times to get all the achievements, so you'd be pretty tired of them by then.

I think this is awesome too... I've just finished Imphyys story, and apart from dieing on the final boss 2 times I really loved it! Visuals are amazing, and it's a nice fun game to just sit and play without thinking about what your doing. I think this is a good game to load up an hr every day here and there and do a mission or two :)

I got it for £8 so it's well worth that!
