i have my ways...:p its hard without lvl 4 but with lvl 4 and the super car and some skill its not that hard...easy for me to say that now since i beat it lol

You probably should have driving at 4 so you have better control on cars. And just like he said, it has nothing to do with skill, all you can do is learn from your mistakes and start to get the feel for where and when sharp turns come up. After much trial and error you'll get a lucky round (I got 1:36 after about 30 tries) and also, if a friend of yours needs help with that race let him sit in the car with you because when you beat the race, both you and him will get the completion for that race, too.

Good luck beating this race, and never give up because once you do, it'll be all worth it!

Nevermind I guess I wasn't that good before! Because I just beat the race I got 1:38!!!!!! YES I finally got the achievement!!!!!!!!
-I got it buy placing the supercar at the entrance to the tunnel, and by driving a small sports car from the starting line to the tunnel.(If that helps)

Damn! I got owned! 1:37 :( Except I haven't tried it anymore after that.

It's VERY easy if you get the right car.. And if you don't screw up. You will most likely mess up this race, though. However, there is lots of room for error if you're doing this race correctly.

It seems like everything you try to do in this game, the game does the opposite. For example, every time I tried to find cars to take gangsters out of for that Repo Man achievement, I would find like 1 gangster car every 15 minutes (after a day of that I looked here and saw that the Diaz time trial was easier and did it in like 5 minutes). Theres lots of stuff though in this game that gets you really pissed off. I have no clue how it does it.

I'll try with the supercar later, but the peds always jump infront of the car or drive into me when I'm trying to go around some tight corner, then I lose time and get the enforcers after me. Bastards.

Woot Woot I just beat this race! I got it in 1:39. I hit a car at the end of the race, so I got out and ran it. I am very happy I beat this race finally.

Dang. That was upseting. After a few attempts I had a time of 1:40.141.:eek: It took me like another 3 hrs until I was able to beat it. Finally beat it with a time of 1:30.123. I hope the rest aren't like this one.

Yeah, and what is up with these civilians? They stop in front of the vehicle and give a thumbs up, lol. Stupid people... and when you're this gigantic super-soldier and you can't move the citizens by running into them? That irritates me. A 300+ (easy) pound super-soldier in heavy armor doesn't knock over a hunched-over old man while running at superhuman speed? I wish you could turn them off or something... they're almost like a gang in their own right.

Anyway got it done in 1:34 -- would've been even less, but I crashed twice at that point where you've got a tight squeeze between a girder and a building towards the end by the river. I was pissed because I was having a great run up until that point. Probably would've popped a few blood vessels if I didn't put it together at the last second. 1:34 puts me in the 2000s in the leaderboards. Rediculous. Hard race!

Well, now I just have the co-op achievements, the rest of my hidden orbs and the stunt marker. "Rings Of Gayness" as another thread creator called them. lol.

I had to do this race about 6 or 7 times before i finally just beat the time by like 5 seconds or something. All the other races are pretty easy but once you get to this one you get slaughter....mass amounts.

I used one of the default sports cars in the area, and got 1:30.

The supercar at level 4 wouldnt hit that first jump, so i decided not to use it at all :(

Mine was 1:37 and I hit 2 walls. One completely stopped me so I know I could shave 2-3 seconds off be why bother.

dunno, i didnt find it too hard.
did it in 1.33 after bout my 4th or 5th go, with the super car all the way, and level 4 driving.

DAMN all those people tho, had the cops on my ass all the way through.

yea just keep trying you'll eventually get it, go really slow by the yellow cones and just sneak though the middle of them.

I know this may or may not help, but it is what I did.

First do not watch the clock. Second do not go full speed except on straite paths. I believe that for this race you actually have to take your time, cause if you try to go full speed you will keep hitting things that stop the car all together. So you actually save time by going a little slower.

I set up a ramp where you have to go over the bollards, helps a lot, also just learn the race and you'll be flying around it in no time!

I just beat this yesterday with lvl 4 driving and the supercar.

Here is how I did it as it may help others. I used the handbrake (a) a good amount and the hardest part was with the yellow pillons (sp?). Anyway, what I did was drive fast up to them and right before I hit them stop and got out of the car. Get right back in wasting no time and if done correctly the car will have shrunk just that one level and will then easily fit through. After that it's all just figuring out when you can go balls out and when you have to go a little slower. It didn't take me that many tries.

1.17 on my 3rd try. use a ramp truck for those yellow road blocks and use the supercar

I got 1:23 - I used the agency supercar at full stats. I kept trying using a moveable ramp for the bollards, but I just kept crashing, so I blew it up, tried the race again, and fit through the bollards at full speed (I will never be able to do that again!!). Crashed once, but otherwise, totally nailed it!

ok no matter with the ramp or without...i can't beat this race. i thought i just sucked at life until i read this stuff and many people are having the same problem. if anyone wants to help me out by taking the wheel for this race...my gamer is "old mike honcho" send me a message and we can get together and figure out this nonsense. i have 5 or 6 achievements left to get and i just can't get past this friggin race.

sure i did mine in under 1.30 using agency supercar maxed out stats, its just rams everything outta the way, you can fly round the courses, i didn't find the races too hard actually.. i did do them very very last though so :)

This helped me alot, by the 5th time i tried putting the supercar near the tunnel, i smoked the course in 1:35

I don't remember which...but either the race car or the supercar fit between the yellow posts before you go into that one alley. So you don't have to use a ramp truck. Makes this race too easy.

After months of struggling, I got it done in about 1:09. Yes, 1:09.

The Agency Racecar is perfect for this, try it if you're having problems.
