If you have finished the game, do you miss the chance to get the sword forged from meteorite?

No, the dlc still allows you to travel

While you can still travel to DLC locations, random encounters will no longer trigger, I just put in the game disk and fiddled around travelling for 5-10 minutes to test.

As long as you have the meteorite already you can still get it made into the sword.

I did this as well. I got that dwarf once and then nothing else for like 10 minutes. This stinks.

A little update. I was able to get the meteorite upon traveling from location to location in the Ostagar DLC. I got it moving from the keep to Tann's.

What's this meteorite you guys write about? Didn't see anything related to it in my run. :(

After you finish the DLC, you'll get a random encounter on the world map. There you'll find a meteorite in a crater which you can use to craft into a sword back at Warden's Peak.
