mask challenge crystal hub 3

is there a trick for getting the masks in crystal skull 3 i think its 6 i have to bash to unlock the character but i always run out of time, i'm quick ( i think ) and pretty fluid in my actions but i end up having 2 masks left to hit :(

You can't be going quick really, it can be a pain, try to minimalise swings on the rope near the end, and from memory you don't have to ride up the flower, you can jump across to it from the last one at the top of the waterfall.

For anyone else who is stuck,
use a girl as you dont have to swing on the ropes u can just jump.
