3rd party pads?

Just wondering if anyone knows of a controller with a GOOD d-pad?

I tried playing Castlevania SotN with a standard 360 pad and it's a total joke.

It's slightly better when playing with a Fighting Stick EX2, but I'm not using one of those to play a platformer.

Any ideas folks? This is the only version I've not got the 200.6% on and even though it looks bloody terrible compared to on the PS3, I still love the game and want it done.

Anyone managed to mod say, a SNES or PS2/3 pad to work on a 360?

Check out that thread... The controller isn't out yet, but the D-Pad looks much better, and I know Razer make great products.
If you can wait, I'm sure it would be great.

I was just about to mention the Hori controller, but Gackt beat me to it. Just LOOK at that d-pad, you can just tell it's not garbage.
