Dead Rising Co-op!!

Is the Zombie Apocalypse drawing nigh? Probably not, but what if players had the ability to fight the onslaught of zombies in Capcom's Dead Rising (http://www.1up.com/do/gameOverview?cId=3140570) with a partner over Xbox Live? Quartermann hints that an upcoming platinum version of Dead Rising will have an online co-op mode. But what about the folks who rushed out and bought Dead Rising last year? They'll be taken care of, too -- but like Quartermann says "for a price, of course."

Good call! I'd go as far as to say "case closed" as this is the kind of stuff EGM does for their April Fool's Jokes... Something crazy awesome but unrealistic... Seriously, who would player 2 be anyway? The game would be so radically different that it would HAVE to give you a new set of achievements just for the sake of making everything challenging.

Wouldn't be impossible. Take a look at DOOM co-op (XBOX). Just play the game, loose cut-scenes.

You could play as Brian, Kent,... or some other dude. It's just about loading a free-current-mission (or story mode) mall and adding a few extra side missions. This implementation would be as easy to do as creating new content for Oblivion and adding an extra 250 G's.

The only hard part for adding would be the network part. But then again if hundreds moving zombies on screen don't lag, nothing will...

I for one dont mind buying the extra coop part. anything that adds more replay to this game i loved playing will be great. Any word if adding the coop part is going to add achevs to it? haha I got the 1000 but dont mind going for some extra like in oblivion with their new expansions which add 250 gs points to the 1000 it originally had.

Personally I'm really happy that finally Developers are hoping on the marketplace bandwagon and making addons for games and adding more achievement points to go beyond 1000 points, yeah 800ms points can be a bit spendy but i don't mind it if the game is fun i never mind adding to the playability.

The game isn't even a year old yet. I'd hardly call it too old. It's not unbelievable at all that they'd add something major to the game. Especially if they decided to charge like $5-$10 dollars for it.
