Four Guardians and Most Valuable Warrior.?

I've been playing this game since it came out and I can't figure out how to unlock these two Achievements at all. If anyone can help I'd greatly appreciate it.

Most Valuable warrior you have to get 1000 kills in one level or at least thats what I did. Easy way to do this is to tell all your units to defend and go to the main enemy base and start killing everyone and it should say you must take over other enemy territory, so the base captains will keep respawning.
Four guardians you just have to keep playing and you'll eventually get it as I hear but not totally sure.

Yeah, just keep playing in Empire mode and once you have taken most of the map, your lord should assign four princes' the title of the four guardians. I kept playing with my main character and certain officers for every battle, I don't know if that helped, but I got the achievement. Good luck.

I got the 4 Guardians by using the same officers and lieutenants in many battles (both Defensive and Offensive battles) and after the 6th or 7th battle my commander named 4 of my officers the 4 Guardians. I only had 2 territories at the time but I was sharing borders with the Oda,Tokugawa and Takeda so I was attacked plenty of times.

I got 1010 kills but didnt get achievement or anything, with 500 kills I got another weapon. And I took over that terretory as well. Any ideas? I'm pissed, wasted like half an hour on it

To get "Most Valuable Warrior"...

You have to get the 1000 kills in a single map with a character OTHER than your Lord.

You know the guy you started Empire Mode with?

Someone other than him.

Use a different officer or something.

I, too, am having trouble with this Achievement.

I've got the Four Guardians one...

Here's how I did it:

I took over most of the map (all but two fiefs). I was trying to get the Matsukaze Horse or whatever it was... Still am trying to get that horse... But I kept going to "Consult". I did this for like 10 straight turns. I used the "Consult" with anyone who suggested "Inspection" without also suggesting "Invite Attack".

After the 10 time of doing this, I ended up getting the "Four Guardians".

Here's how I think it happened...

I used consult a LOT.

Still do, in fact.

Consult with the same four Generals over and over and over and over again. Only the same four. Now... I've got a crapload of Generals and I wasn't aiming for the Achievement of "Four Guardians". So I think this Achievement took me far longer than it probably should have.

I've also been using Harumune Date for a Lord.

So... What you should do...

Is...

Turn everyone into a Lt. except the four you want to get the Guardianship thing. Then just use consult on them a lot. Consult with each of them every single turn (I have five turns per Strategy Phase so it's easy for me to do this) and you'll eventually get a cutscene for it.

Or you could just consult with everyone a ton and it may pick someone at random out of the list of your Generals.



Now... To get the 1000 kills...

I honestly am having a CRAPLOAD of trouble with this one...

I've gotten several level 4 weapons, even for lesser characters... But the most kills I've ever gotten on a map is 627, and that was with my custom character. I had to hop on a horse and mow them all down along this road and keep making passes back and forth, to keep the enemy from killing me. I was playing Defend on one of my maps and against a stronger enemy... They wouldn't let me take many bases without facing three or four generals all at once.

Is there a much better way to get the 1000 kills? Should I aim for the Time Extension card before attempting the 1000 kills? Or is it not worth it if I'm only getting 627 kills in 30 minutes?

Any particular tactics that worked exceptionally well? Like leaving areas on the map and coming back to them? Or letting yourself get overrun? Sorry, I'm just lost on this and really need some help.

I'm also having trouble getting "Benefaction". I had it at one point, but my game froze and I was stupid and didn't save... So how do I get it back? I keep using Inspection and Exemption but it's not working.

I got the MVP achievement no problem however ive heard a couple of different ways of geeting 4 lord/generals or whatever so which is it??

An easy way to get the "Most Valuable Warrior" is to choose a battle in which you're SEVERELY outnumbered.

Like two to one.

Then tell all your generals to go on defense (hit down in the D-Pad).

Then go take base after base.

Find routes where LOTS of generals pass through, or frequently travel through on their way to your base.

Camp there.

Kill ONLY the troops of the generals (best places to do this are near bases you can take). Don't kill the Base Guards either... Or the Generals or whatever they're called.

You'll also need "Time Extension" for this.

Just keep killing the troops and not the guys who spawn them.

You'll easily get the 1000 kills with time to spare!

The easiest way to get Most Valuable:

1.) Go into any battle. Try to pick easier ones - fiefs with fewer generals, for example.
2.) Tell all of your allies to defend your main base. If any of them try to go somewhere else, just order them back to the main base again. This is so they don't take any bases.
3.) Defeat all of the enemy generals so that they don't come back. This will prevent the enemy from taking your bases easily.
4.) Go into the enemy's main camp without making a path towards it. You'll get messages saying that you can't take it without a direct route to your main camp - this is fine. Just stay there and kill people. Base Captains will keep respawning for you to kill.

If you have trouble killing people quickly, use Extend Time. It might be a good idea to do this at the same time as Fourth Weapon, if you don't already have that.
