Beat last mission and still earn elites ach????

Does anyone know if you can beat the last mission on elites (or regulars/pussy) and still earn their respective achievements????

I met a guy and he said that he tried but it didn't work. You should try yourself to be sure or just play through the game twice within 6 hours.

you do not unlock the achievement, you must do each level

to answer the question of whether or not these are "STACKABLE ACHIEVEMENTS" meaning if i beat it on its hardest level will i get easy and medium level cheevos too?

the answer is no....you have to play every level....on every difficulty...i did....on three profiles...trust me...
