It just never got added, either because the game is inherently very easy, or it was a total crapshoot. The world may never know.

May i ask, wuts a guide?
It is that little blurb under the achievement kinda like a hint/ tip?
Or is it like a walkthrough?

An achievement guide is a walkthrough of a game on how to get achievement and easier.
Fight Night is easier than breathing...
Bomberman, I bet We can ask Smokez? :p
Crackdown is in progess in its section
Do we really need a guide for Oblivion? It would be huge if you need to write up a guide for each quest, and a couple of the achievements will have multiple quests.
This Summer I may try and write up a few seeing as I will have nothing else to do for three months other than play my 360. So put me down for the Oblivion one =D

Yeah there is, tips can be given for some of the levels such as the dragon riding ones and such, every little bit of info will probably be grateful from the reader so if it's possible to make a guide for it why not.

But you haven't even played the game right? Even if you've played it on PS2 there may be significant changes....

There can always be improvements =P
I'll have to do a Worms or a Bullet Witch one as soon as they come out over here. Bullet Witch comes out next week, but Worms is another story.
I stopped work on the 'Edit Button' guide, but I will be making a joint video guide for that and the search feature too. No excuse for laziness then.

So, yes, I've played the game.

I am currently writing an Eragon guide as I go through the game, I should be done sometime tonight.
EDIT: Done and submitted!
Um... I have a Question....
Should we have a guide for "Winning Eleven 2007" Just saying See "Pro Evolution Soccer 6"
(I can make it :p)
I know it Sounds stupid, but I bet a lot of people dont even know theres no difference... and some people are probably looking for one...
Or at least you could have a link, so that when you click "Winning Eleve 2007 Achievement Guide" it shows "Pro Evo Soccer 6"

Um.. Did anyone read my previous post?
Winning Eleven 2007 & Pro Evo Soccer 6 have the exact same achievements, cant we just link them to each other. It's on the list, and all we need is a re-direction on the front page....
Anyone?

Can someone seriously read my post..?

Webb read it.
I agree with you. We should link them together. Or if someone really wants a guide just copy the guide from Winning Eleven or whichever has a guide.
The simple fact is Maka, I read it, but we don't have a guide for either, so till then, whats the point in changing it? :p
wtf? I was 1000% sure We had one.... Was it taken done for some copyright reason or something? Hm... Thats weird, I remember I checked right before I posted... And Im positive there was one..
There was defo one when I posted about it the first time..
*I can make one, if that ones gone...
There has never been one fella, sure you weren't sleep walking again :p
Im so Positive that there was one...
I remember... !!!! Argh! I was even going to print it...

Don't be so down about it Wolf, just check the game forum that you want to make a guide for, and if there is already a guide being made, see if you can help, otherwise, feel free to start one and help the community prosper!

on the guide page, i think there should be a way to rate a guide. like either a box for people to leave feedback on something that could be improved, or a simple 1-10.

This would be excellent, and if a guide falls under like a 5 with a certain number of votes, someone can submit a new one... because no offense to whoever wrote them, but some of the guides basically just restate what the achievement is, not really HOW to get the achievement. In my opinion it should almost be a walkthrough with tips and the easiest way to do it, not just "this is what the achievement means" you know?

Approximately how long will it take to be uploaded to the guide section of the site?? thanks.

It's best to put it in the submit forum. And mach, it takes however long the validation and formatting process takes. Sometimes a week, but my open season guide went up in about 6 hours.

I've got a stupid, obvious question. How the hell do you edit games?? Do I need some sort of admin or mods, because I sometimes see little things I'd like to fix, or add in. Or in some cases (Tony Hawk's Project 8), major typos.

I just wanted to make a comment about guides in general. Most people who are playing a game for the first time and want to get all the achievements (Phantasy Star for example) would want to know how to make the game as quick and easy as possible. So for a game like PSU, the guide should include tips like
1) Don't use up your scape dolls when you get them
2) buy a set of knuckles on chapter 6 when they become availbale and link the photon art to them and abuse the hell out of the special move to level it up. (or likewise with the spear)
3) Give tips about the places in the game that most people have trouble with like in Chapt 8 when you're supposed to talk to Pete.
The current guide just tells you how to beat the bosses that are worth achievements which doesn't help you actually get to the boss fights lol Another concern is for a game like Ratatouille that is extrememly easy to miss certain achievements and have to start the entire game over again to get them. The achievements on the list are not in the order they are unlocked which complicates things. (The guide on the forum on the other hand was sorted) These are just two examples of ways to make the guides better. Not bashing anyone who made the current guides at all. Just speaking from the perspective of someone who is looking for the info to get the achievement points.
I made a guide for the Godfather for my friends to use and it included a few sentences about what kind of game it was and how long they could expect to be playing the game to unlock all 835 points. Then I went on to say which achievements they should start going for first all the way to desribing how to boost rackett trucks at the end to grind to level 50. I think that's the kind of stuff that the random person dropping in to have a look at the guide would want to see. Just some thoughts I was having. ;)

I submitted a guide for Wartech (Senko no Ronde) weeks ago, and haven't heard anything since.

On a similar vein to Maka's posts, as Moto GP '06 and Far East have the same achievements, why not use the guide already up for both of them?

There is also an Armored Core 4 guide in the Arnored Core 4 forums. I'm not sure if the creator finished editing it, or submitting it, but it is definately there.
Also, why would Quake 2 require a guide when it is just an extra in Quake 4, having no achievments?

This thread is a duplicate of this (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showthread.php?t=7173) one in the Announcements section, and they both are out of date.
I am going to close this one and get the other one updated so at least I only have one thread to monitor. Thanks for the consideration. ;)
Edit: Okay, a thread with VERY comprehensive lists of games without guides can be found here (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showthread.php?t=37889).
