DJ Hero Turntable Problem

I got DJ Hero today however after a couple of plays something happened to my turntable!

The buttons do not work and scratching doesn't either but the confusing thing is that the euphoria button and crossfader still work along with the normal xbox buttons.

Does anyone know any way to fix this or am I stuck with having to get a replacement?

I just got it recently as well and am also having troubles. My buttons work, but the turntable itself doesn't recognize when it is being turned.. It seems to me like both of us are probably gonna have to return it..
