It's not that the game itself is so hard, it just doesn't tell you anything. Apparantly you have to defeat all the default characters to earn a title shot but if the random thing doesn't work out for you there could be a character you don't see for a while. The costume thing is ridiculous. I mean I like the game so I'll get there, but I can't see someone who's just playing for the points going through all that.

yeah u gotta beat all the default char's and then play 6 other matches! good thing if your playing with one of theyre alter-ego's u dont have 2 go against that char (example: playing as rowdy reiko...u wont have 2 fight reiko hinomoto)
