The baby is here

Well as some of the site members have known my wife has been pregnant and ready to give birth at any moment. Well after 17 hours of labor and one hour of pushing she was taken in for a c-section. Caitlan was born at 1:05 this afternoon weighing in at 8lbs 5oz.

Mommy and baby are doing great and i am so super excited right now. I now have been up for 34 hours straight but all my tiredness melted away the minute i saw my little girl. I just wanted to say thanks to the people that knew and sent thier well wishes.

As soon as i get to go home i will post some pictures for you guys to see.:) :) :) :)

Thanks a lot guys. After being up for 50 hours straight I finally got some sleep last night. It came in little 2 to 3 hour increments but at least i logged about 6 hours total. Boy am I refreshed now. lol

Mom is doing a lot better and should be up and moving around finally today. The baby is good, eating and crying like mad. I guess I would cry too if I had to look at my ugly mug holding her too. She has had her full check up today by the pediatrician and he says she is perfect in everyway. Kind of like her dad :p .

Hopefully we can get to go home sometime tomorrow and then i can finally post some pics for you guys.

Having a 5-yr. old myself I can relate that nothing is better than having a little girl around the house, but one is enough for me, at least for now... :)

Yeah we were so hoping for a boy but that's ok i love my little girl. However son of cheeks does have a nice ring to it. :) LoL

@ Wreckon this will be the last one my friend unless something just happens we definately do not want to have 3 children. it has been discussed many times and that is the reason we were hoping this one would be a boy.
