Hi wanted to start a thread with discussion (or trash talk) between rivalry players. I think that the "submit a rivalry challenge" thread has kind of moved into this area, however it was started so people could find rivals, not people who already had them. So anyways, There you have it.

this is for fun....you do it against friends who dont care how many games you have rented/own/whatever but yeah it is somewhat but thats why everyone here(or close to everyone) has a rental service they do

Well atleast GRAW doesnt have a lot of easy achievements :p

I was originally planning to be at 16,500 by the end of the weekend (finish as much of the launch titles as I could before the next wave), but Fight Night never showed up, I haven't been able to get the last 250 in NHL2K6 yet, and I was so burnt out on THAW after getting the 900, I didn't want to play Story mode 3 more times, AND classic mode again, AND find all the stupid gaps. So I'm at least 1,350 behind where I wanted to be.

I actually haven't played anything since Sunday morning.

I have yet to find a copy of FIFA and I need to get my ass in gear with some of the games I havent finished (DoA, Call of Duty, PD:Z). The games comming out tommorow are going to slow me down. I still need that last achievement on NHL as well. I also need to go back and get the last Achievement on Fight Night.

But I did get the "Level 1 Master" on Smash TV last night. That made me happy.

Yeah, I know. I only got 4 more levels left (56-60) and the rest of the achievements look easy. I just haven't been motivated yet. That, and the balancing levels piss me off something fierce.

How did you do it so quickly though? Played DoA for like a hour and got 70, nhl for 45mins got 750 and condemed for a couple hours for another couple 100. NHL is really easy for 750 (1k if you have someone help)

wouldnt bother with renting tiger. will take you ages to get 300 points. getting more than that will take longer

I think your rope-a-dope technique is working. I'm starting to burn myself out. The only game I've been playing for the last almost 2 weeks is GRAW and the only achievements I have left in that are those ridiculous ones like Best in the World or 10,000 Kills. I'm hoping a few quick and easy ones will freshen things up. We'll see if Gamefly ever can actually get Fight Night R3 to me. It shipped the first time nearly 3 weeks ago. Jesus, I hate them so much....

Graf it was 3 weeks for NBA live to me. and then after the 2nd time it didnt come they told me that if there was another shipping problem that they would have to terminate my service. Its like, yeah, thats my fault you cant get me a game lmao.

When I find the time I'm going to call them and demand some type of compensation. I mean, I pay for a 2 game plan and for more than half the month, I only have one game at a time. It's bullshit, plane and simple. And if they have a problem with it, I'll cancel and go with GNF which I may do anyway. They seem to get the new games within a week of release which isn't too bad, and they are MUCH faster at least getting me the game (although it seems to take about as long for them to get the game back, which makes no sense). But the icing on the cake is they cost about $9 less and it's 3 games instead of 2.

I currently am new to both sites:

Gamefly : More expensive for 1 less game. Better selection. Gets the games faster. Way slower shipping. Better website.

Gameznflix : Cheaper and 3 games instead of 2. Way faster shipping to me in New York, Slow website, slow to get newest games out, not as big of selection and not as many copys of each game it seems.


I think I am going to stick with gameznflix. As games start coming out that I want (like ES IV) I will have less time to play rentals and might even drop it down to there 2 game plan.
