I found it very fun, a good amount of different combos to keep me entertained and finishing moves and so on, not once did I get bored and I completed the game twice. Great game!

I too found this game a horrible atrocity in the gaming world. I had to force myself to play through it. Only part I liked was the little egg achievement picture, it makes me happy when I look at it. :P

Yeah, there really isn't much to this game, both in the fights and the puzzle-solving if you could even call it that.

But, if you like a small, easily to remember ability list and a very linear path through the game so you don't have to work to hard, then you might like this game.

That's exactly what i thought of the game. I took me a week to beat it. I couldn't play straight through. Way too boring. Its bad when you can just run threw levels to beat them.

Eh? i thought King Kong was worse. Eragon was a good game based on the novel and movie Eragon, Deadrising etc.

I am only 1/3 the way through this attrocious game, and if I didn't have achievement OCD, I would send it back, I think Microsoft must put some type of addictive narcotic in the little 'Achievement Unlocked' message...now it's back to beating this god-awful game

Yeah this game is just not fun, maybe a little at the beginning but it falls fast. I'm just glad I beat it and wont have to suffer through it again, the last boss was pretty hard on hard, go figure.

I find most games where you just play through the movie to be very boring, but it actually isn't that bad. Go download Luxor 2 and then you'll be VERY BORED quickly.

I was at Target and saw this game on clearance for like $8.00 so I couldn't not buy it. I'm not that far into it but it's not the worst game I've ever played; easy achievements, but I'm glad I didn't pay any more for it than I did.

After just finishing this game I have to say that I could not wait to put it in the mailbox and send it back to Gamefly. I almost cannot count the things that I hated about this game, with it's only redeeming value (in my opinion of course) being the fact that it's a relatively quick 1000 points.

To sum it all up, I think I'd rather sandpaper my sack and dip it in paint thinner before playing this game through a third time.

The level design is horrible and unimaginative. The two or three waterfalls in the game are about the only decent eye candy to be seen. The rest looks like something out a terrible Nickelodeon cartoon series. The cutscenes are worse than the regular in game graphics.

It seems like when they had a level that they wanted you to play longer they abandoned all creativity and decided to stick in a part where you couldn't advance until you killed x amount of x creature/guard which 98% of the time had you spamming precision arrow shots or throwing people off ledges.

To be perfectly honest, if I were a game developer, programmer, artist, producer...anything, and I worked on this game I'd leave it off my resume. I just can't see how anyone at the end of the day could make something like this and think to themselves that they had earned their paycheck.

If you want a quick but painful 1000 points, rent it and get it over with. If you have a gift card or some spare money burning a hole in your pocket, don't buy this game. Go buy an MS points card and get $40 worth of LIVE arcade games because there are definitely plenty of games in the marketplace that were crafted with more care and honest ingenuity than this pile of dung.

I wouldn't normally play through this game twice, it's repetitive and bored me to tears. The only thing that kept me going was achievements. I think they put subliminal messages in when you hear that "Achievement Unlocked" sound. Otherwise I would not have gotten through this game twice.

i actually am not having a problem with it. it reminds me of the old lotr games (the two towers, return of the king) a friend and i were going through it last night, and were laughing are ass off picking off people with a bow from miles away lol...

now when i go and play this single player it might be a totally different thing but with 2 people its fun, especially just laughing at thing like this one level we bowed these 2 guy is the face and they looked like that guy from hellraiser... or when you get a quick arrow off and it goes in one of the enemies throats, and they still continue fighting lol....

it was actually enjoyable.

It was an ok game, that I'm glad I only borrowed, rather than bought, but compared to a game like Ratatouille, Eragon was a joy to play.

I'm playing through this the now, and my God, it's rubbish.

Only a handful of different enemy types throughout the entire game.

Only a handful of attack moves, none of which cause any kind of significant damage.

The only attack you can do which causes any kind of significant damage takes so long to charge up that an enemy can come through and smack you one before you're finished.

My son wanted this game for Christmas last year. After reading some of the reviews I convinced him that we should use the money and get 3 months of gamefly instead. GOOD IDEA, this game is maybe worth three day's effort.

I really enjoyed this game. As a movie game, I feel its on par with King Kong, which I also enjoyed. If you wanna talk bad game movies, Superman Returns takes the cake. This one wasn't bad, I quite enjoyed it. It felt like Marvel Ultimate Alliance (combos and such) meets Lord of the Rings

I'm about half way through on hard then just have to blast through normal and trade this guy away. Can't expect much for $10.

I didn't think that this game was that bad once you got to use magic arrows. Magic arrows make the game so much easier. I felt that the game was a bit repetitive, but I didn't mind it. I liked the sword/bow options as well to switch things up.

Oh man, this game is HORRID! I snagged it during Toys R Us' current clearance sale for the easy 1K, but MAN.... it's soooooo insanely boring.

I have to keep taking breaks between beating each level on Normal and Hard. I just finished Durza's Fortress, and holy cow I need a massive break before I even think of tackling another horrible dragon level.

I really didn't mind this game. It reminded me of the old LotR game that I used to be addicted to. It's pretty repetitive but it's so short that it didn't really get to me. I thought the final battle was cool but the besides that one I couldn't stand the flying missions...stupid camera kept making me crash into walls etc. I'm pretty sure I took more damage from my environment than I did from my enemies in those missions. I appreciate how they tried to make the cut scenes match an old art style but they didn't really pull it off...

Anyways I only paid $5 for it at Gamestop (used) so I definitely got my money's worth.

Just another points-are-all-its-good-for game. However, I found Alone In The Dark to be 10x worse than this in my honest opinion.
