That movie was among the best movies i've seen in the last year. Such a great concept for a film, and whoever directed this movie sure gave a unique feel to it also.

It was very enjoyable to see at the movies, with the giant TV and the amazing surround sound. Has a great feel to it.

I agree Children Of Men is a very well thought out film. I don't go the movies very often but I'm glad I saw it.

Spoiler alert!!

It was a great film, came out here ages ago. It was actually the first film I liked Michael Caine in. I'm a Clive Owen fan anyway (for obvious reasons!) so I knew he'd be good. It was really well shot too.

I really thought the Editing and Cinematography should have definitely won Oscars, as much as I love Thelma and the Departed. (Haven't seen the Pan.)

I can't wait for this film to come out on DVD! Does anyone know when it is being released here in the US? I am a big Clive Owen fan as well...

what was this gist of the film?

Basic premise is that there has not been a single baby born in 18 years and as humanity slowly marches towards its own extinction, the whole planet has basically started going apeshit. The government has gone into totalitarian overdrive restricting the movement of the public, rounding up foreigners into ghettos, ect. You know, the whole Nazi thing, minus the genocide. Clive Owen's character is contacted by his ex-wife who is part of some underground movement needing help to get a girl out of the country who turns out to be pregnant.

That's about I can tell without starting to ruin the plot. It's a fantastic movie.

The movie looked and sounded good. They killed off the only two known actors in the movie. You were waiting the entire movie for an ending that never happened. Yes the boat was there to get them but I wanted to see what happened after that. Didn't really care for it overall. JMO
