Damnation Festival??

Have any of you guys from the UK heard of this festival? It's coming to Leeds this year and as it's about ten minutes drive from my house I'm wondering if it's worth checking out. It can't be that great if I've never heard of it before??

Good find, if you live near where they have the Leeds festival (you said in another thread, I'm not poised behind some bushes outside your house) then I could easily get to it without too much hassle.

No lineup as of yet, but if they have British heavy metal then how can they say no to Motorhead or Iron Maiden? Plus one bookmark =D

I found it in Metal Hammer. It's actually easier to get to than Bramham (where Carling Fest is) as its at Leeds Met Uni which is about 5 mins out of city centre. Don't think they are likely to have really big acts til its better known and as Download has Maiden this year they aren't likely to play both. Think it will be heavier, more underground stuff. Will prob have to go just to see what it's like anyway and it has a Jagermeister stage which, if they have any on offer, is likely to make for a good event!!! :drunk
