I use it, I have made one pacman game with guns (objective to save the magical hoe, Mrs. Pacman from the cartel lords) but I'm not that good and any advice that you would get from me would suck.

He's developing a virus!

I havn't used it, but if you are willing to get more advance and put a few more steps forward, use Flash MX 2004, it is a lot more difficult to do, but it can yield beautiful things if you read up on javascript coding enough.

Tips and Tricks huh?

Actually, you're number one best resource for XNA is to look at the starter kit (http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb203939.aspx) files that Microsoft giveth unto you. Also there are these kickass videos (http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/xna/bb245766.aspx) that help you see just how it all is done. If you're looking to go above and beyond, a Dummies Book on C# might help for a little more modulation, though I haven't personally read one, so I don't know how much it would tie in. Maybe skim through one at your local Barnes and Noble, Borders, Tea Shop, Book Emporium. There's also the C# Developer Center (http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/vcsharp/default.aspx) for help with the language in general, and I'm sure a Google search will likely turn up a bunch of forums on the subject.

Hopefully that helps to get you started. :)
