Allright, gonna run a question by u lot.
My 360 died the other day. I rang microsoft, they sent an order to UPS. UPS sent the sticker to my old adress, no problems, i still got it..
I rang UPS today for the collection of the 360, and they said they would come inthe afternoon. I dropped the 360 off at my parents house seeing how i had to work. While i was at work i realised, damm what if they send the 360 back to my old adress....better ring microsoft... I rang my parents, and they said UPS picked it up so i was happy...

When i got home i rang microsoft, and here is what the deal is:
There is no record of UPS collecting the package at the house. it has not been scanned it thus not been picked up........PROBLEM?
Microsoft said to me that i have to contact UPS and see whats going on, because UPS has system/plan for these situations.......and the package should be locked down in the ups storage...

This still leaves me wondering.......i hope when i call them in the morning that they have my package, if not who is to blame then??
They will both point the finger at eachother and i will be stuck in the middle without my 360

I would say it's your parents fault for giving the package to the Milk Man.
I just couldn't help it.

Seriously though, UPS is definitely the ones at fault if they are the last ones in control of the package. It is thier responsibility to get it back to Microsoft, not Microsoft's responsibility to make sure UPS gets the package to them. Hopefully when you call in the morning UPS will have it no problem.

Having sent tons of package overseas I've often had them picked up, but when I check the status they are marked as "not received" or "package exception" status. Then the next day they show as being in transit. I hope all goes well for you.

I'm a little confused. What you're saying is you gave them your old address and it basically screwed everything up?

Cisum, thats the first thing that they screwed up.....UPS still had me in their system, and apeartly microsoft did not send them my current adress.......i got that sorted out when i rang UPS the other day and they were gonna pick it up at my new adress, but i had to work today so i dropped it at my parents house, rang ups to collect it there...

I work for UPS, so I can say it may not just be in the system yet. Some drivers scan the packages right when they get them, and some scan everything at once when they unload their truck at the depot at night.

As long as you kept the tracking number, check back on it tomorrow morning and see what it says. If there is still no scan, then either the driver stole it or lost it and you will have to do a trace for it (which almost always turns up nothing).

Good luck though, that sucks.

Why ohhh, why do people refer to me as a winged reptile of legend.
There is a C in there.... DraCgon, more correctly Dracgön.

Look at the Avatar that is me Dracgön not some winged gecko.

Ahhh now I feel better, so what did UPS say, are you good now?

sorry dracgon.....read it to fast....
it is solved the mystery.....they found it, it was travelling under a cancelled order...
what happend was that when i made the repair order, microsoft sent it to UPS, who issued sticker....10 mins later i realized that microsoft still had my old addy so i rang them again, they said they would cancell ther first order and issue a new one.,.....the cancelling never got to ups.......so hence why i could not track my xbox, as the sticker i got was staying "sticker left at pick up adress" so hopefully i will get it back some time next week......

thanks for all the assistance and support :D :D

The blood is on UPS's hands, make sure they fix the problem.
