I did not remember reading about this in the achievement guide, so I thought I would post it as a tip for people trying to beat the bonus mission with Imphy... if it was mentioned, I am sorry for reposting.
The 2nd time I was trying to beat the final FINAL boss in the bonus mission, I saw an item drop and grabbed it right away. The item was the "DEADLY ARMBAND". Apparently it drops randomly on any map, but it is extremely rare...that is what all other sources of information said at least.
But the main reason why it helps you beat him, is when it is equipped your red orb bar will never drain when you do the Seraph Butterfly move like it normally would. So you can equip it and endlessly do as many Seraph Butterflies as you need to (once your red orb bar is full of course), until the final boss is killed. This makes it a lot easier, because then you arent screwed once all of the enemies around him are dead and stop providing red orbs.
As soon as I got it, I beat him right away,... not saying you can't beat him without it, but just keep your eyes open for item drops on all of your levels when your maxing to lvl 9 to enable the Seraph Butterfly move. Cuz the Deadly Armband will make it much much much easier.
