I know that it's going to be 14hrs play, but is it easy but boring or hard going?
I don't like the idea of playing 13hrs and then running out of food suddenly or getting killed by some pyscho.

So basically my question is it just a case of endurance and if you can do that you get the achievement?

I found it easy but extremely boring. I just rocked the Mega Blaster until I killed Adam, and then used the mini-chainsaws plus 1 or 2 books. I think there was only one time I was close to dieing.

Id have to agree. The game is mad easy to beat, but very boring most of the time. I mean, the idea of killing zobies in various ways to complete missons, trapted in a mall for an exended period of time sounds like fun and all, but it does get sickly annoying after awhile.

From what I've read, yes. The basic premise is that you stock up on all the food-effect multiplying books, get a load of food, find somewhere quiet to wait and eat to maximise the food benefits, and repeat for 14 hours. One guide I read suggested you have a good book to read as you'll spend a lot of time just hanging around between short gameplay bursts to find food. It's something I'll do myself eventually as it's one of the few achievements I have left (along with Saint and Transmissionary), but I need to find a completely free day to attempt it.

Has anyone had the game crash on them while attempting this?
I know there is a glitch in the food court about the 4th day.
It would be a real bummer to have a crash on the last day.

Really nervous about trying this myself. Don't want to spend almost 14 hours of my life and then fail only to do it again :( only 3 achievements left in this game!

Has this got to be done in a 14 hour gaming streak? As in you can't save after 3 hours go sleep then carry on in morning?

I haven't done this Achievement yet, but yes, it has to be done in a 14 hour streak. If you want to go to sleep, pause the game. =/

i'm in the middle of my sixth day right now, hanging out in neds nicknackery, i got super lucky after killing most the psycos and stuff, after the psycos you should be up to day 3, then you can start working on static food...

i cleared out pp, the movies, the roof, and made my way to the entrance plaza, i got lucky and the sniper family had spawned, that meant 3 pizzas, 3 oranges, and 3 cookies, plus all the static food in the plaza, been here for a few hours irl eating it all and surfing the web, i'm getting so close...

gl to all who try, i know if my xbox glitched up even once i wouldn't be trying it again, haha.

I tried this back when I first got the game and gave up after just a few hours...it was way too boring. I may try it one day, but I really don't feel like devoting an entire day out of my two days off a week to doing it.

Plus, I can't imagine getting sucked into my book or movie and missing a feeding only to have Frank die, or hit a glitch and have the game freeze on me.

ive just completed overtime mode and later i will try and do it but for now im gona get the easier achivments like zombie genocide

I'm on Day 3 of Infinity Mode right now... yeah, it's pretty boring.

Having a hard time tracking down survivors and psychos... may have screwed myself by focusing too much on static food.

Like stated before, this achievement is EXTREMELY boring. Sometimes you just have to sit in one place and wait for a few hours (real time). You can get food from the psychos too if you kill them. But I still wouldn't bother trying to kill them. Only if you just don't have any food left and there is no food in the mall anymore.
