That's crazy that no one noticed this. You'd at least think her neighbors would have noticed that she didn't have any lights on for 15 years!
P.S. Spartan, get online and play Oblivion with me. :p

From age seven to age 14, I lived with no electricity. We had a farm in San Diego County right on the border of Mexico. No electricity, no phone, no running water. We had a propane refrigerator for a couple of years, and a wood stove for heat.
Our nearest neighbor who lived there regularly was about four miles away, although there were seasonal cabins that people came to for vacations (mostly hunting trips).
I would NEVER live like that again, and refuse to even go camping if it means no hot shower in the morning. Not scarred or anything...lol!

Wow. I couldn't possibly do that because, I will admit it, I'm a electricity whore. I need electricity and that's too gnarly for me to do for that long. A days too long for me lol.

Wow, Imagine after a decade of taking cold showers, how good it would feel to have hot water. That's some fucked up shit. It mentioned in the article somewhere that she was afraid to use the light switch, Haha.

Wtf? That's some crazy stuff right there. Having no power for 15 years.. I would NEVER be able to last that. The max I could probably do is a week. I don't even know I could do 3 days. I'm that reliant on electricity. I just need my good food :P Oh yeah water is nice, too.
And I would have no working computer w/ internet (which means.. no x360a) and no Xbox 360!!!!

I can understand being embarrassed that you hadn't showered with hot water in a couple years, but I think the fact that I was without FUCKING ELECTRICITY would have override my shame a little sooner than FIFTEEN GODDAMN YEARS LATER!
