I just beat everything 5 star on medium and I'm personally getting tired of the songs. I'd rather not have to play all the songs again to find something easy. I've beat the first few songs on hard which is extremely easy but they only have like ~200 notes so its impossible to get 300 in a row on those.

Any suggestions for a song that's really easy to get a 300 streak on, in HARD mode? Thanks

The first setlist, I think it's called "scratching the surface" is super easy and can get you the achievements.

maybe you didnt read my post but i said those songs dont have 300 notes...........

also FYI - rewinding does not add to your combo

I've been practicing Beastie Boys - Intergalactic vs Blonde - Rapture and it only has a few hard parts, i got like 279 streak but f'ed up...owell

Maybe YOU are not understanding the achievement description...

The 200 note streak achievement can only be unlocked through the HARD difficulty.

The 300 note streak achievement can only be unlocked through the EXPERT difficulty.

So in other words, you've been wasting your time trying to get the 300 note streak on Hard.

Both achievements can easily be unlocked through the Born to Roll vs Mr. Big Stuff (Masta Ace/Jean Knight) through their respective difficulty. You pretty much need to perfect that whole song on Expert and you will barely make it. You don't even need to pick the Scratching the Surface set list, just select Quicklist->Standard Setlist and pick the track, it is the 3rd one down.

Born to Roll vs Mr. Big Stuff is what I did it on also. It was really easy on Expert.

I keep ruining it with my scratching but im getting close to 300. I got 280 something then fucked up a scratching bit. That 1 scratch note done wrong only bit wrong I got in that song. Im sure I will get it finaly because my scratching is getting much better :).

I'm terrible at scratching, but the closest I've come to getting a 300 streak on Expert is on the Tears For Fears / Eric Prydz tune

Just got the achievement on the Tears For Fears / Eric Prydz tune.

Its by far the easiest track on expert if you're no good at scratching IMO

I will have to have a go of that on expert then :).

Yeah, those one button scratches are a b*tch.

I got Perfect on Born to Roll vs Mr. Big Stuff which came to 335 notes.

Just got the 300 streaks on Born to Roll vs Mr. Big Stuff. The hardest scratches are at the beginning, so I restarted as soon as I missed the third one, and tried over and over again.

I tried with Eric Prydz/Tears For Fears, but I don't see how it can be easier. Not only there are many scratches, but they come with crossfader moves.

Don't forget that while in Euphoria, you don't have to use the crossfader, but you get the score for it. It can really help sometimes. You don't get more combo with rewind, so don't use it to be sure.

I still fail with some scratching wel not fail but loose my streak. Its annoying because I am awesome with the crossfader and the button presses but its just the scratching annoying me :( I need to spend a few days playing this song.

I did it on Born to Roll vs Mr. Big Stuff (Masta Ace/Jean Knight) on hard/expert too. Afterwards, i got the 100% and hit all effect zones on the same song, on hard - just took a couple of tries to get used to it - so just keep practising :)

I noticed a strange thing... there are many "bimbiminchia" (sorry I don't know the exact english equivalent) out there that are awesome at xfading/button play, the same development in finger coordination that makes they good at GH/RB guitar play, but are awful at scratching - the same lack of body motion coordination that makes them failing at GH/RB drumming. After asking to a PE teacher, it seems correlated to the fact that, naturally and without specific training, the uman body starts young with finger dexterity and less body control, and growing the fingers lost nimbleness while the body gain "fine-tuning". The problem gets worse with too much sugar intake at young age.
End of lesson :D

Are there any DLC songs that are easier than the first setlist?

I've been trying to 100% "boom boom tap" on hard and I always miss one blue note

I did both the 200 and 300 streak on the Intro for the

Benny Benassi / Tiésto - Satisfaction/Elements of Life
YouTube- DJ Hero - Expert 5* - Benny Benassi Satisfaction vs Tiesto Elements of Life 406k

The intro to the song has more than enough easy notes to hit before it gets into the main song. (Also, there is no directional scratching required)
