i've got this game reserved at Game Stop and will be picking it up the day it comes out, on the 22nd. most movie-based games suck (Spider-man 3, Superman Returns), but i'm such a big POTC fan, i think i can forgive any suckiness. from the looks of the achievements, it'll be an easy 1000, too.

is the game really going to be 1 or 2 players? awesome if it is, but i was thinking it was only going to be 1 player.

If it is anything like the 1st game i think it is a must game, as the 1st rls was a blast. ;)

I've been playing the game so far and its really good! But it seems like it starts you off @ dead mans chest(when jack escapes the prison in the coffin) and from there its jumps from areas of DMC to the next area. So far it doesn't look like its actually going to spoil the movie.

The ending totally ruins the movie, I tried skipping most the videos, but yea totally ruined for me.

You can skip all of the actual storyline video's if you want so the ending can be kept totally secret, just give the A button a tap everytime a cutscene starts.

And yes it does start at the DMC with a section that was chopped from the film, it serves to fill the gaps in the storyline as well as push it all forward through the 3rd film.

It should'nt take any more than 5 hours to do the entire game and all of the achievements (excluding the 100 souls, as thats kinda awkward)

Spiderman 3 Games does NOT suck. Its a great fun game with great graphics, a nice gameplay, good sound. Not the best ever game, but its not something which should be put down, especially along with Superman. Cos Superman sucks.
