Weapon achievments

Can we reload levels to get this achievment or do I need to play the whole game again?

the only 2 achievments I am missing are the firearm freedom award and the melee mayhem.

do i need to find every weapon in every level or just the ones I didnt use yet.
I have been at this for a day now and its frustrating to say the least.

for the firearm one do i need certain weapons or just the
revolver
45 cal
pump shotgun
sawed off shotgun
rifle
sub machine gun

I used all those but am I missing any?

As far as i know those are all the firearms, just make sure to get them all in one playthru.

As for the melee mayhem, you have to find and use every melee weapon. And this is just in my experience, but as far as i know, you cant reload levels. You have to find and use all the weapons in one playthru of the game.

so when you say "every weapon"
do you mean i need to use all the pipes on the walls in every level?
for example using small pipe around 40 or 50 times I would think?
please let me know

started a new game and on level 3 at the end they both just popped up.
weird they didnt come up ingame like I read everyone elses does.

Yeah. this is one of the last achievements, I need too. I have got the fire-arm freedom one but I haven't got the Melee Master award. I've gone through the game twice so I'm a bit worried that it's glitched out on me. I'll continue trying though.

I am playing through again. started a new game. Just finished level 4 and got the fire arm freedom award, so I think you can just relaod chapters.

You can reload chapters as that's how I got my achievement. Just make sure to smack at least one person with every weapon (only once for each weapon type mind). The ones I missed are the handrail in one of the school toilets, part of a locker and the meat cleaver that crazy butcher used.

I thought you just had to find them all, I didn't know you actually have to use them all. I'll start a new game to do it right this time.

I finally got this last achievement. I started a new game and when I got to level nine I had the achievement. You just need to reload each chapter

Ugh...this is the last achievement I need. I was hoping the handrail wasn't in the school. Damn, I hate that level!

Oh well, at least it's not the Library basement...

that handrail is a killer it just doenst look like it should come off. looks more like scenery.
