Is this the best game on Live Arcade EVER, or what ?

I am kind of an achievement whore, and I have played a shitload of Arcade games. When I finish one game, I move on, and most of the time it is torture for me to start again one or more times for achievements that require it.

But with Shadow Complex, I can't stop playing even if I'm already level 60. Sometimes in the morning, while drinking my coffee, I play for 15 minutes just for the kicks of it. I can't stop listening to the end theme I bought on iTunes while I'm on the subway, and I keep trying to beat all my friends's high scores when one beats me on one challenge. I can't stop playing this game, and I can't wait for DLC and Hidden Empire.

I just seriously wish there was an acceptable gamerpic or a premium theme, because the pics are just plain ugly :(

Im going through this now, and finding the collectibles a little confusing, even though following a map and video guide, I find I forget, or cant figure out how to reach certain places, you follow what looks like the right way, only to find out your way off! other than that, I am loving it, by far the best XBLA game I have ever bought.

I hope DLC does come out.

Just got it. Yeah, it's a good game, not very original, being a clone mix of Metroid and Bionic Commando....but it's still pretty good. Not the best I've bought from Arcade, but still, better than most.

A very good game, although Braid was more my style which i would give the edge to. I mean, the first time i played that game the puzzles altered the way i thought. Incredible!

gonna have to invest in tis game it seems i have been on the fence for a while about it but as im running out of games to play ill give it a go! :D

Nothing wrong with either, it's a very addictive game. I bought it a week after it was out or so and here I am playing it again going for level 50. I think if I made it to 60 I would be bored of it since Im a bit of an achievement whore and they give me something to work towards. But yeah it is just fun to run around flying about and shooting people down. I think it beats the old school Metroid and Castlevania's hands down. One of the best arcade titles I've ever bought even if the price was a bit steep for my liking.

But oh well, hopefully my purchase warrants some DLC or more awesome games from their studio. :)

Hmm DLC would rock, this game reminds me of Metroid, which I used to love before it turned into a FPS, >_>, but anyway, I'd say best single player arcade yet!

I'm playing this game since monday and I'm also sink in it. One of the best XBLA games out there. Well worth those MS points. This game reminds me another XBLA hit: Castlevania: SotN.
