Help "Find Hemlars Murderer"

Hi,

I started my new game going as the Mage to get the rest of my achievements, im doing the quest "Find Hemlars Murderer" but im stuck.

I have confronted the chef with the knife after the smith confirmed it was his, and ive also bought a bottle of that mage wine.

What would I do next?
