We've got some mails and forum questions about donations, so we've decided to put up a donation button at the top of the page.

We'll also start up a poll about how we should use the money we get.
It's your site/forum as well so the members should get a word in the deciding on what we shall use the money on.

One of the things can be like
* Getting vBulletin
* Get more bandwidth
* Purchase prizes for the tournaments (when the tournaments get a little bigger. Like a free faceplate, game, MS points, etc.).

We've experienced a lot of bandwidth increase lately and when our new project goes public this mid week, we'll probably get a whole lot of publicity and need more bandwidth for the websites.

If you decide to donate just press the donate button to the right of the top menu and enter the ammount you would like to donate.
Even if it is only $1 it is appreciated.


I can personally assure you that every penny that get donated will go straight back to this website/forums.

i was thinking of the prizes for tourneys and gamer of the month if we do that let me know routine
i think more people will like prizes but get bandwidth or the "necesities" first

Yeah, that could be an idea. I'll also check with gamefly if anyone likes that. Like a free subscription for something months.
I'll contact them and hear if we can make something out.

another idea is when someone wins a tourney you can give them a point and add it to a point list
then they can use those points towards different things like a faceplate could be 5 point 3 months to gamefly could be 20 points and so on ??? ???

we'd also have to decide what you can get for however many points that would be up to you routine since its your donations

If we keep up the good work with the site, then we will start gitting free stuff from the game companies. How much bandwith do we have and how much are we using? One thing that can kill a site, is not having enought bandwith to keep up with demand. I saw that the xbox.com site had to get more badewith with all of the peopel looking at there gamer card.

we might get stuff from companys but i know that if we review games and equipment like team xbox .com you have a lot better chance of getting free stuff

either way it would be cool because we could use the stuff as prizes for the tournaments and stuff

Bandwith is a must but once thats hopfulyl settled the tourny prizes would be hella sweet, ill see if i can donate in a few weeks(mid march hopfully)

When we opened the forums and such we had a lot of new visitors so why we had to move all the achievement pictures to another server server. It's the last of the month now and we've used about 75 percent of our available BW, so this can be a problem, cause we have a little trick up our sleeves that will make a lot more visit the site, but it kinda sucks if it only was online 20 days in a month and than the bandwidth limit was exceeded.

Another thing to prevent this is optimizing the site as much as possible. We're working on that now. It's not really anything the users can see, but it can lower the BW and other things, so its for everyones good :)

About the prizes for the tournament... I think it's a bit expensive to give people a free faceplate because everyone lives somewhere else. It might be a good idea to give someone a code for a few M$ Points.

Some one in the UK can buy the UK one and someone in the US can buy the US one.

Routine sends the cash paypal style to a trusting memeber, they go out and buy whatever(or even do it online) and send it to the member in whatever area they are in.

that could work matters how well people trust each other.

Didn't know about GF advertising until someone PM'ed me about it. Maybe they saw ianc's sig, not sure.
In stead of google ads/etc we thought it could be good to have a banner to that on this post and not on the whole forum.
We get $10 for everyone that sign up for the free trial. Good deal for us and you ;)
