its 2/8/07 and some guy on my friends list that does not work for microsoft or having any game related job is playing crackdown right now.

Could he be press related ? Or a tester of some sort, even though it's kind of last minute for that. :p
no he downloaded it off the Internet...he is not a tester, nor got it from a press release.
i can copy the xbox message if you want me to.
He could be a closet tester, or a very good liar.
If it is available for download then there will be some cracked skulls in the Crackdown house sometime soon. I thought I unlocked an achievement for the game just as I was playing the demo, it was a message from my Mum telling me to come home for tea (in the form of a friends request from someone).
Keep us posted on any development in this mystery of scooby doo proportions.

Hey now erton he's my friend too so let's not bash him. But ya his box is able to play downloaded burned 360 games now. And that's it. He said it was real simple. if you don't understad just ask him again he'll tell you he's not gonna lie. I was chatting with him as you sent messages.

oh sorry to confuse, i wasn't saying you were I just didn't want it to turn out to be that way and mario we didn't use his name for a reason. but oh well you spelled it wrong. He's not on this site anyways so no worries. Oh and he has only 45 points in it when there are people already on the leaderboards with 5 6 700 points...

my friend also downloaded this game, i wish my 360 could play burned games id love to play games early ^_^
as for that one guy blocking his games, when you block your games you can still see there gamerscore, so either way even if he has played games he dosnt have a signle achievement

There is a very easy way to play non-self region games as well as illegal copies of games on your 360.
Boot up a game, any game will do really unless it is an old one.
When the 360 is spinning it's little heart out, flip your console so that it is either standing or on it's side (depends which way it starts).
If you time it right then you can play with any disc you want.
If it doesn't work then the Universe hates you and thinks you are a cheater, I accept no responsibility if you accidentally scrape a scale model of the Grand Canyon into Gears of War.

yes they can be downloaded from various sources anyway don't think such things are allowed to be discussed on this board .
anyway you would need a xbox360 capable of running backup games (of your original games obviously :) ) (either by flashing the dvd drive with the right tools/hardware or by installing a modchip)
anyhow ... yeah think better leave it at this before there's some trouble :p

good thing I don't steal music either then. And I fail to see why I'm wasting my time by being annoyed by little cunts stealing games like this considering I work for a games company and basically ppl are stealing from me.

Gonna lock this now. Just remember that piracy is wrong, if you don't reward the companies that create awesome games like this, then they will not get back what they put in to it.
