Um... i dont know i dont really enjoy playing it, but I'm doing it for the points.. Everyone says its easy but I'm actually finding a "little" challenging... I've died a couple times and have had some problems solving some of the puzzles. I'll Beat it ;)

I liked it as a rental as well. Well, it was really tedious. But a couple of the V-Rex levels really got me stressing out (in a good way), which is pretty rare in a game these days. Running for a spear and you just know the V is right on your heels...

Overall though, jungle jungle and more jungle.

Yea, i liked it.. It was worth a rental and a few hours, and it was enjoyable for as short as it was, it probably wouldve gotten boring if it was longer, but i liked using kong and smashing the hell out of shit ;D

I enjoyed the game. Bought it used, with low expectations, so I was pleasantly surprised with it.

I rented it. I loved this game...the Sound was the best in any game so far and the graphics were great, especially on the Kong parts. I have no complaints about this game, except it has no replay value, but IMO, most games have no replay value once you beat them.

Modify: And I don't see how everyone likes this game. Ive seen people on other large sites saying this is "game of the year", "best movie game ever" etc etc.

yeah i see it gettign great reviews everywhere only thing i hear bad about ti besides short(witch i didnt think it was to short but i did parts of it in few days) is the darkness issuse witch i didnt have at all.

after that issuse abotu beign dark people kinda b***ed about it and what not but they mostly still liked it.


I cant say why i liked besides i love the story they did a great job on keeping to the movie PLUS adding on to it, good controles and alright vocie(cool for mr jack black)

It wasn't a horrible game. I'm glad I rented it and didn't spend the 50-60 bucks on it. When its in the "greatest hits" section and cheap I may buy it to finish off the internal game awards. I just wish you could play Kong more.

Did anyone notice this (I might be wrong). But on the level where you play as Kong and you first meet the villagers to fight, Kong is facing you and you run him towards you to start getting the villagers, I swear there was a little Gollum that was running away from Kong right up on the screen and he runs off as you start charging the villagers.

It really looked like him, but I could have been just loopy.

I thought it was awful at first , it got better once you first turned into Kong and saw the Vrex's . Very samey throughout though and a bit of a chore at the end . Slightly above average at best .

I thought it was a very easy game...easiest 1000 achievements that I ever got.

The visuals were nice, I preferred playing as Kong [more monsters and better graphics in my humble opinion]

I was a nice diversion but doesn't have a much replay value as say Splinter Cell Chaos Theory.

Definite rental but not a buy.

I thought king kong was an enjoyable movie tie in game and im glad i played it. Id rather play king kong a 100 times over than play the crappy xmen game, it sucked in my opinion!! And the gamerpoints were easy for king kong which was nice.

I've changed my opinion. I hate this game. Proof, I dont have 1000 in it... Possibly the highest gamerscore without 1000 in it? I couldnt stand it enough to finsih the last couple of achievements.

Some ideas of the game were great..just the fact idk...enemies were lame....ohh ok random insects and giant crabs and dinos attack you...Seriously i can look at this game and say if they polished it a little more i would really enjoy it..but the fact is u opened to many doors and burned to many obsticles without makin u feel you did something new...it wasn't that bad though almost made me cry just kidding lol

I bought this for the PS2 wwaayy back when and liked it. I recently rented it for the easy 1000 and hated it!! The 360 version has sooo many gliches. The only reason I kept playing was for the points!! But since I know what to do everywhere I got all 1000 in about 3 hours and can delete the worthless saves of my HDD.

Anyway i enjoyed the game, it was a good story and the gameplay was good. The only problem i had with the game was the graphics, but i could still look past that.

This game was soooo poo! didn't like it at all. im glad i didn't spend any money on it. if i hadn't have know itd only take 7 hours i wouldn't have carried on after the first 5 mins. it was like playing mario on the nes. the way you can only go one way and you sort of just follow a single path the whole way. big dissapointment. it may have helped if you could just run of for a bit n do some random hunting of dinosaurs. in my opinion worst game ive played for along time.

I think it was a good movie game. On average the movie games stink. I really liked the king kong parts. Swinging and climbing around was cool. The sequence in this game made you feel like part of the movie.

I played this game as a rental when I first got my 360 and I do have to say that I enjoyed it. It was very pretty - one of the best looking launch games for the system. It was nice that it was really easy to get the full 1000 in too.

I don't think it's bad, very cinematic, but a bit too cinematic. It's not ridiculously easy, but it's not too much of a challenge really. What I don't like about it is it's very, very linear, especially the kong levels, in those it is almost like a cinematic, feels like it's on rails and all you have to do is push the analogue stick forward and kong will do everything for you.

this game was cheap as hell off ebay, so it was essentially a purchase for the price of a rental. It's a decent game, but can be so stupid that it's frustrating.

I also ran into glitches that caused me to restart levels due to not being able to finish them. Overall, I played it for the achievements and had low expectations, but it was alright for a button mashing movie game.

It was a bit of a cheap game for the 360 - launch title - but yes, you do get to have dinosaurs chase you while you search desperately for a spear, and there's nothing quite like that.

PS: ph201, I got just as lucky. Looking back yeah, I see a lot of people having trouble, I sometimes did a little yelling at the screen to make Jack help me open the door.

Not by any means a $60 purchase.. My parents got it for me with my 360.. I really liked the demo and it pretty much sold me on a 360 [HD graphics = amazing for me at the time]

As far as the game, it was great what I got out of it.. Just wish it had more replay value.

I was modestly suprised with this game. The shooting parts as Jack weren't all that much fun, but playing as Kong was great!! I just wish you could play as him for longer periods in the game and that he had more combo attacks. Overall, I think it was worth the $12 to buy it used.

Well, i found it a little boring, but i began to play on a sd tv, and i do the second part of the game in hd and it was a lot better.
An easy an not too long 1000 gs anyway, but good for rent or buy it used at low price only.
