Dang it. I'm really starting to get upset about most new arcade games costing 1200 MSP.

Some of the new games are worth 1200 MSP but some are definitely not. If its a decent game that is long or has replay value then I have no problem with the price. I don't think this game is going to qualify for either of those.

I dunno about this game. Never heard of it before so I'll have to check the demo out first.

Just played the trail of this not worth 1200MSP
The bars been raised over the last few weeks to what a 1200MSP game should be and this falls well below.

1200 is the new 800 WTF!!!!
it's because people say silly things like..
"i would have glady paid 1200 or more for this!"
"It's only 5 more dollars." etc etc
i played the demo for this game earlier, i'm still contemplating getting it or not, i would have been sold for sure at 800, but 1200, I just don't know if it's worth my hard earned $$$.

have to agree...Trials HD and Shadow Complex set a high (very high) bar on XBL and although this seems decent it is not close enough to the quality of those two for sure...

Yep,they have got to be very careful when pricing these games.Like others,if it were 800,after playing the demo,I would've instantly purchased. However,I'm not totally sold now and the cost is part of it.I don't mind the extra cost for most things but it seems the 3-D huha is what's bumped this one up and sadly, due to my eyesight,I can't even view 3-D :/
I think I'll see what others say of the game cause the demo only showed the surface.I want to know more what's underneath before I taketh le plunge.

As consumers we can help or attempt to putting a stop to wrongly priced games, by not buying them. I think the only game that set the bar as far as what a $15 game should be, is and was Shadow Complex. I have not played Trials, but i would say i'd never go back to the game once i finish all the levels. Let's not confuse that with achievements. I don't buy games nor do i base price-point on achievements.
Shadow Complex is just a beautiful game on an unreal engine. Already 15 bucks is a bargain.
As for Invicible Tiger. I was psyched about this game since early May. When I saw it was 15 bucks I was not happy. Like TX said, how long will the game be? and will it be easy or hard?
If the game had some reuse other than changing the difficulty setting, then sure maybe it would be worth 15. As it stands, this is a 800 point game.
I also wonder what MS would consider a horrible sale. MS doesn't lose any money for putting a game on the service, especially if it does poorly. The only thing they lose money on is some bandwidth. So, even if no one bought the game, i wonder if 1200 games will continue to poor out.

it seems like the game doesn't get too much love. even though it's a decent beat 'em up game.
according to MGC the game has been played by nearly 300 people. I know it's only a chunk of the whole xbox gaming community, but comparing this score to any of the games from the summer of arcade it's an epic failure. even to the Turtles Re-Shelled which is definitely worse game than the Invincible Tiger.
I gave the game a try by running the demo and I'm actually sold to the game. I really like the graphics, the humour seems to be also very good, and the fight even though really simple it's far more challenging and complex than in mentioned above Turtles.
1200 might be a bit too much, but 800 for better game than the Turtles seems a bit underpriced.

I agree. Very few people seem to be enjoying Invincible Tiger. I actually really like it, and in my opinion it's a far better game than Turtles in Time. However, 1200 MSP is way too steep a price. The only reason I was even prepared to pay that much to unlock it was because I had really enjoyed the demo, and because I haven't unlocked an arcade game in ages (as well as my love of cheesy kung-fu movies and generally all things Chinese).
You make a very good point about Shadow Complex. The comparison in depth for the same price is staggering. Shadow Complex is easily worth the 1200 it costs, but despite how I feel about Invincible Tiger I have no problem saying it was ridiculously overpriced. Sadly it's looking like we'll have to say goodbye to the possibility of future 800 MSP arcade games, but maybe there's still hope.
Being a major fan of kung fu old school flicks I was very interested in this game. However after trying the Trial version I don't think it is worth 1200 MS points.
This will have to wait until the price drops (if ever...). :(

imho due to the very low popularity among gamers the prics will drop eventually. it's still better to earn 800 than not to earn 1200 ; ]
methinks M$ will understand the price for the game is way to big.
I definitely buy the game when the price drops to at least 1000 M$P. I think it's worth that much.

This is a stereoscopic 3-d game. To render a game this way it costs a little more, frankly I think for the innovation to the XBOX arcade the extra 400 points is more than worth the cost. The game play is fun too. We found that for achievements playing in 2-d is a lot easier but having a friend over and popping on glasses and playing a simple fighting game in 3d is a sweet concept.
P.S. 3 Years and all games will be 3-d. Train your brain now =)

Well, your wishes have come true ... this game (among others) is part of the "Deal of the Week", and now selling for 800 points:

I might get this. Doesn't look like there is much of a guide though.
Anyone know if this is at least an easy 100 GS?

This game flew completely under my radar. Didn't even know it existed until I saw it on DOTW yesterday.
