stuck at objective "go back to claire and escape from the complex"

i put this in the im stuck thread but it was just getting buried so my objective is to get back to claire and escape the complex and i have the suit with the hyperspeed things and your supposed to go through the top part of the map to get back but i fell down the giant hole/ mine shaft in the middle of the map and now i cant get back up. ive tried getting back to the place i was when i got the objective but no dice, and ive tried to get back to claire from beneath but that is a one way path. does anyone know what i should do?

I did this exact same thing last night, so I feel your pain. The way I got back was to work my way near the top left of the map. Do you remember a room where you hyperspeed across some crates and through a door and bust through some fence to get a gold bar? Go there and go through the fence again and up (don't take the crouching path underneath). Eventually you will get to a room that looks like it only had a red door leading out, but if you look around in there you will find a way out of the bottom right of the room that will drop you down into one of the first rooms that you started the game in. It took me like an hour to figure that out, because the map is a little misleading. HTH!

OMG thank you i just did it! i had found another way to get back up through the ine shaaft but somehow i cut myself off from this and i was just about to restart so thanks
