Okay, I've done all the pro challenges (apart from Tony Hawk's one) - I literally screamed with relief when I landed the 540 Indie clean for the Ryan Sheckler challenge. But wait! Did I unlock the dreaded darkslide? Er. No... so I can't do Tony Hawk's challenge.

I'm at a bit of a loss - why would it unlock Tony for me to do but not darkslide trick? Have I gone wrong somewhere? Is the game busted for me? Do I have to complete all the other challenges to unlock it? Or do I have to play in free skate mode (I've tried... but no joy)?

I'm a bit confused about this and any help would be much appreciated.

The trick should be unlocked. Go into the start menu and look at the trick list under grinds and specials.

If it isn't there then go to the stake shop and see if you have to buy it (you shouldn't but then you should already have it).

thanks - I've just learnt that the little padlock symbol doesn't mean that it's locked - just means that you can't change the buttons for it - doh!
