Lock-On

I think this is a great game and I love the demo but the Lock-On kinda sucks. Sometimes I lock onto dead or dying people WTF or when i want to look on explosive barrels it doesn't let me if there are enemies around. I have also been aiming almost straight at a guy two feet away and instead it locks onto a guy about 100 feet away What the Hell.

I hope they fix this in the full version.

Yeah, I noticed that as well TBH. It's worse when you play co-op as you tend to lock on each other :(

I never managed to lock-on to anything other than enemies and cars, can you actually lock-on to barrels and so on?

There is a zoom in just hit up or down on the D-pad

Its true, Getting Locked on to Barrels is Extremely difficult, but I like the Aiming. Because Otherwise, It wouldnt take any skill to do anything, Just click the Lock-On and Shoot, this way it locks on to the closest thing to your Cross-Hair. Makes it more diffilcult... And Less Repetive In a Way..

Zoom is up on the D-pad then more zoom with the right bumper.

You can lock onto barrels and blow them up go to one with nobody around and try it.

I rarely look at what buttons do unless it is in a manual, otherwise it is trial and error =)

I found a sniper this afternoon and tried it out with my new found zooming skills, not that it changes the headshot frequency.

Headshots are Super Easy, With the Sniper. It shrinks in about 2-3 Seconds..

But I still prefer shotting their Legs and watching them Fall.
And Incase someone didnt know, While Holding The Left Trigger, you can use the Right Thumbstick to pick the body part to aim at...

They are too easy if you ask me. I got one from pretty far off with the pistol, just took a while to lock onto it.

I like the body target areas, it makes boss fights a bit more tactical as headshots do more damage but you are left open to attacks.

And you can do the same to vehicles, only it seemed a bit tempermental on when you actually could change where you aimed.

I just use manual aiming, its far easier to get headshots, even at long range with the handgun. Using the auto aim is a waste of time and ammo. In my experience with the demo.
