Disconnected from live. Kills still count?

I was playing a team skullshot match tonight and i racked up about 500 kills towards no, seriously with my boosting buddy. I randomly disconnected from xbox live but the normal routine happened when you finish a match. It said team skullshot match drawn, then said saving content, just as if i had finished the match. Does anyone know if those kills i had racked up counted towards my 10,001? Thanks to anyone that can help.

I was going for the capture achievement and I was keeping track, my connection dropped the game saved I went back in and I only needed 5 more captures to win per my count.

The game saved the ones I got when I lost connection, however I do not know if it does that for kills as well.
