Is it possible to Unlock Abyss and Play with him/them?

No buddy it isn't he is just a boss character. and all the characters are already unlocked

The Next time the shoulda put in some Charakters to Unlock cuz theres nothin to do, just Unlocking Achievements.

but its ok, i like the Game anyway because of Online.

The original on the Dreamcast you actually had to play the different mode types ( and even the arcade units by putting your VMU in) to accrue points towards purchasing characters to unlock them.

I was kinda surprised actually when I booted up the XBLA version and every character was unlocked. Oh well I suppose its part of our right here right now society.
