Today is Jan. 18, not expecting anything I went home at lunch to play some Xbox. When the dashboard opens up, there is a image saying Crackdown: Download the Demo today. I was thinking "Awesome they pulled a fast one on us and said it wouldn't be out today to surprise us." So I go to newly released demos and don't see it. I then go back to click the image and all it includes is more info. Now I'm sad again. Was they trying to pull a fast one but didn't get it up yet or was this an accident?

I would say it was an accident. It was just recently that they announced it had a small delay and wasn't quite through certification. They must have just forgot to stop/remove the banner on the dashboard.

That's what I was thinking but how could someone forget something in a few days? Only good reason I can think of is the banner was set on a timer.

I just hope that it does come out before the end of January, and not end up getting released like a week before the actual game comes out.

And definely not after the game is released like they did Blitz. Blitz was out for almost two months and they put out a demo.
EDIT: I'm not trying to replay after every reply, it just happens I have something to add to it. :(

That is spam! Stop that please.
This Gaem R0x! LoL
But seriously this game is great. I've played the demo 4-5 times already, and have "Maxed" Each stat except Driving at least once. So in total thats at least 2 hours, but probably something like 3-4.
I really cant wait for this game.
