How many titles do you need to get the last bunny hood i counted 133 titles from The Pants Party's awesome title guide i currently have 100 titles out of the 133 i remember reading that The Pants Party had only 70% and didnt recieve the last bunny ears I'm at 75.18%? I'm not sure if it matters or not but yeah... anyone have any idea? Edit: So i got one more title now at 101 and I got doggie jerky...im just going to beat the game screw it....

I was in the same boat. I have ears for Estelle, Judith and Rita, and a Beautiful Katamari prince for Yuri. I'm sure the only titles I'm missing are the ones that you can only get on playthrough #2. I just went and finished the game, carrying my titles over though. I'll get it next time.

I'm so close, I have 105 titles which puts me at 78.9%. Only one or 2 more titles should do it (hopefully).

I just got the black bunny ears on my first play through,

i had 111 titles and it wouldnt give them to me, after getting the chef titles for everyone, taking me upto 117 titles i was able to obtain the black bunny ears for Yuri.

so some where between 112 and 117 Titles is enough to get all the bunny ears.

If you don't mind me asking, which titles are you missing? Just so i know which ones to shoot for to try to get it soon. I've had the coooking ones for a while now, and still no final attachment.

Alright, I'm not too far off then. I still need the level-100 ones, but most of my characters just hit 90+, so one or 2 more runs of the Labyrynth should get me there.

My real problem is going to be the 200-man melee. Are you going to do it your first run, or wait for your second one to grind your characters up to level 200? Just seems near imposible to do with characters like Estelle or Rita (unless there are good strategies for them which I am not aware of).

Thanks

i was under the impression that 200 man melee was second run only as you needed an item from the dungeon thats only available on the 2nd play through or did i miss something

Actually, I just beat the 200-man with Yuri at around level 96. Thank god for the Glory skill and my Fell weapon anhilating everything. It wasnt too bad, but I would defintely wait til around level 125-150 to try with Estelle.

And you don't need the second playthrough to play it. Once you finish the game, you save, then load that save file, and continue playing. If you've followed the sidequests, you go unlock the Labyrinth of Memories, and defeat the Boss there. Once you do that, and beat the 100-man melee with 3 characters, the 200-man is unlocked.

Thanks I find Rita to be one of the easiest to clear the melee with. If you don't mind missing out on the grade, put the difficulty on easy, use her overdrive when it starts and keep spamming Tidal Wave. Wipes anything and everything out really quick.

jrmtz85
08-04-2009, 05:02 PM
Ah, touche. I did that method of grade farming, and for me tidal wave is associated with 1 damage, haha.

I'll give it a go with her, and Repede, who I found surprisingly fun to use.

Any thoughts on Estelle? Or Karol, who is frickin slow!

VinasErgoth
08-04-2009, 05:28 PM
Try spamming Karols ground area attacks, though I'm not sure how effective it'd be. Dragon Upper vs the aerial enemies? I don't much like using Karol myself, and I'm yet to do any of the melee's with him.

Estelle is somewhat similar to Rita. Holy Lance/Angel Ring should do enough damage vs a lot of enemies, and her sword artes vs the single "boss" characters. The only trouble I had when using Estelle was vs Gauche and Droite. They're so damn fast and annoying.

But anyway, back on topic, I went through the list of titles I was missing for each character:

Yuri

Hope of the Town (yes, I forgot about it on my first play)
Dark Lion
Legendary Swordsman
Item Hater

Repede

Great Boss (one of the most annoying titles to get)
Silver Fangs
Nirvana Dog
Big Bad Bandit
Fatal Dog

Estelle

Dedicated Paramedic
Curious Princess (yes, I missed this one too)
Itemania
Battle Nightengale
High Priestess
Fatal Angel

Karol

Crouching Tiger
Manly Man
Shining Fighter
Chirpy Fighter
Fatal Attacker

Rita

Magical Bee
Master Mage
Fatal Sorcerer

Raven

Vagabond Wolf
Super Star
Fatal Old Man

Judith

Dragon of Blue Lightning
High Dragoon
Fatal Lancer

As you can see, I still have a ways to go for the title achievement, but how many more do you think before I can get the last set of bunny ears?

jrmtz85
08-04-2009, 07:21 PM
Well, just got my ass handed to me by the Time Traveler in 200-man melee using Rita. Tidal Wave and Meteor Storm work wonders against most enemies, but those bastards start off with Overlimits, which prevents them from being stunned and then bum rush you and comboed the hell out of me.

Yeah, I only used Karol in the fight against Zagi, and the other oen where you have to sue him, and it was horrible! I guess level 200 might make you strong enough where his speed wont be a factor.

We're missing most of the same ones. Although you can go get curious princess anytime I believe. I know I got in from my finished game save, since you also have to visit the Labyrinth to get it to unlock.

I believe I'm missing 2 less than you, so once my characters start individualyl start breaking level 100 i'll make note of which ones specifically got me the last set of years.

For bog bad bandit, turn off all his artes except theivery, equip that skill which icnreases his theft rate and play though the Labyrinth, you should get it soon enough.

Considering which titles we already have, I think we'll get the ears somewhere between title 110 and 115 (i hope).

VinasErgoth
08-04-2009, 08:28 PM
So there are 133 titles and I have 104 of those. Well I've left my game collecting up Fatal Strikes with some of my characters, so I'll see if I'm able to get any of the fatal strike related titles after that.

jrmtz85
08-04-2009, 10:01 PM
I was thinking that a good method for Fatal Striking was to start off with the same setup for Rita Grade Farming, but setting one other character to "Aim" in their FS option. Link 2-3 enemies in a crowded area, and each fight should net a good 10-15 Fatal Strikes. If it works, it should hopefully take 10-15 mins or less to get the 100 per character.

I'll try it when i get home.

VinasErgoth
08-04-2009, 10:45 PM
I tried it with one of the Giganto monsters. The one outside Deidon Hold to be exact. Minimum damage on everyone, set all to target weakest enemy and aim for FS'. He keeps respawning more enemies, so the fight could go on indefinitely.

I left it for just over an hour and didn't get the title for anyone, but I suppose if you tried to do just one at a time instead of 4.. Oh, I had auto on everyone too.

Whoever's saying you need 117 titles for the final pair of bunny ears is wrong. I have 118 titles now, and still no black ears for Yuri. This is getting really old.

-edit-

Correction. 118 really is the magic number. My girlfriend got another 200-man title for me tonight, and I thought she had checked if we got the final set of bunny ears from it, but it turns out she didn't. It's official now. You need 118 titles.

VinasErgoth
08-05-2009, 11:51 AM
Alright, good stuff. jrmtz, there's a fairly easy title you could get there for Estelle. Her Magical Maiden one is a lot easier than most to get if you do the 100-man melee on easy.

jrmtz85

I have the Bunny Ears!!!!
I got 2 more titles and he gave me the last set.
I didn't check between each one, so i got them at either 115 or 116.

The two I got were 200-man melee for Repede, and Into the Sky for Judith.

I believe the Title Guide here dosnt state that you need to go to talk the kid from the Dragon Races to get Judith's title, so I could have gotten it before.

And 200-man was sooooo easy with a level 104 Repede, equipped with his Fell Arms, and some "Ultimate Dog" accesory or somehting like that. I think it gave him more damage, and i know it replenished health and TP (It doesnt specify in the description). Also set difficutly to easy. Gonna try with Judith and the rest later.

For now, I will bask in the knowledge that when I get home in about 6 hours, Bunny Guild will have unlocked :)

Heh, congrats man. I got my level 100 titles a few hours ago, now it's just a case of finishing the game to unlock the 200-man melee. Figured before I did that, I'd try and get what easy titles I could. Just got the Dedicated Paramedic one for Estelle and now trying for the Chirpy Fighter one for Karol. These balloon enemies don't explode enough. lol

The easiest way I found for Chirpy Fighter was to just take Karol with me into the EX Dungeon. You run into a lot of large bosses in there, and they often stun your group.

The easiest way I found for Chirpy Fighter was to just take Karol with me into the EX Dungeon. You run into a lot of large bosses in there, and they often stun your group. That might actually be worth trying, but a lot of the bosses are dead within 20 seconds now, being level 140+.

i dunno maybe its determined by something other than titles, maybe u need a set amount of titles + X amount of game time wearing the other ears i definatly had 117 when i got mine

jrmtz85

Here's a suggestion if you want to level up pretty fast, and it actually makes the EX Dungeon even more worthwhile. Use the Demon Seals on the 3 characters you're not using then run thorugh the dungeon taking the path with the most bosses.

Demon Seals give you 2x the XP, but inflict all status and magical ailments at the same time. This may seem like it sucks, but since each boss drops 30,000 XP, that 60K really helped me level up quickly. The long path gives you around 9-10 bosses, so thats a lot of XP. Assuming that also works with the 10x grade purchase, thats 600K!

My setup consisted of Yuri with his Fell Arm, and everybody else set to defend and run away (since they're pretty much useless with all arts and skills and everything else sealed up). His Fell Arm had around 7,000 Atk, so each swing was doing around 10-15k in damage, with Azure Storm hitting upwards of 20k per strike. I'd combo the hell out of the bosses with them lucky to get one or 2 hits in, which did less that 1,000 damage.

The only boss I'd hesitate to tackle like this is the Traitor to Heaven, since he is really strong, but after level 120 or so, I don't think he'd matter.

Hopefully this works, and it'll make reaching level 200 go by even faster.

VinasErgoth
08-06-2009, 05:43 PM
Yeah, I was using Demon and Dark Seals near the beginning of the game, but as bosses got more HP and took longer to kill, I stopped. I'm getting atleast one level per boss in the Ex Dungeon right now and have Yuri at level 180.

Getting 15 Fake Gald is taking longer than I expected.

jrmtz85
08-06-2009, 10:35 PM
So you were using Demon's Seals at the beginning of the regular game or the Labyrinth? And from what I can tell, you entered the Labyrnth with upwards of level 150. If so, Yuri should be enough to obliterate everyone by himself. My last run was to get everyone to level 100, as everyone was relaly close, so I set the seals from the moment I walked in (I had 3) on everyone but Yuri and set them to run away/defend. I pretty much literally ran the entire Labyrinth, through the long path, with Yuri with nary a hiccup.

And yeah, its a bitch to get the 15 Fake Gald. Took me about 5 runs to get it all. Mkae sure you use those runs to go through ever single path of the Labyrinth, so you can scan the Labyrinth only monsters for your collector's book.

Lemme know how it works out with Estelle in the 200-man. I've already beaten it with 3 of my guys, but I can tell its going to be a bitch with her. Why is she so slow to cast spells!!!

VinasErgoth
08-07-2009, 12:23 PM
At the beginning of my EX New Game I used Seals for that extra boost of exp, as most enemies would just die in one or two regular hits. I should get the 15 Fake Gald today so I'll do the 200-man melee with Estelle first.

EDIT: Just finished it with Estelle at level 200. Was really easy. Normal attacks up until the 75+ mark, then used Overlimit 1 and spammed Holy Rain. Whatever it didn't kill off after the overlimit ran out, I'd just use regular attacks on, and repeat.

jrmtz85
08-07-2009, 06:52 PM
Very nice. How many titles do you have left now? And please tell me you have the bunny ears already.

I've been workin on the Fatal Strikes one. I'm only missing Repede's and Raven's now. Should be done with that soon. Then I just need chirpy fighter and the 200-man with Raven and Repede before I move on to my second plathrough.

I want to finish as much as possible in my first one so I can just blaze through the second one.

VinasErgoth
08-08-2009, 01:18 PM
I don't have the last bunny ears yet. Just working through the 200 man melee with one or two mor characters, then trying for them. I've gotta give this game another two playthroughs atleast now. One to get the True Knight title for Yuri (did all the secret missions on my first play, but didn't know you had to reload your save afterwards to get it..) and another for a speed run.

jrmtz85
08-08-2009, 01:56 PM
Ouch dude, sorry to hear that, the secret missions are a bitch.

Yeah, I want my next one to be my speed running, only stopping to scan the monsters I missed (the damn aersick ones).

Here's a tip that worked wonders for me for the "Fatal" titles. Spawn the Giganto outside Deidon Hold (forget the name), and have Rita in your party with all artes turned off except Tidal Wave, so its the only one she does. Make sure Rita and the other 2 characters have minimum damage set so they can't kill anyone and just fight away. The trick is, keep the strategy on moderate, so everyone is always fighting, but turn off the FS, so only the character you're controlling can do them.

The real secret is, make sure you don't kill the Giganto Monster. After about 10 mins or so with each one, just escape the fight. Have another random fight with the low level monsters there, and if you've hit the 100, you get the title. Now, enter Deidon Hold, and leave again, and the Giganto should be there so you can do it with another character (or keep at it with the same in case you didnt get it yet). The most he ever took for me to show up again is entering/loeaving Deidon Hold 2 times. If you dont kill him, you dont have to wait for the repawn time.

VinasErgoth
08-08-2009, 11:20 PM
That's a pretty good way to do it. Oh and I got my Bunny Guild achievement at about 119 I think it was. I forgot to mark it down when I got the black bunny ears.

Done my monster nerd achievement pretty easy (missed scanning Zagi in the first fight on my first play). Once I mop up whatever I can in my current play, I'll start all over!

jrmtz85
08-09-2009, 04:08 AM
I need Zagi second form, adecor/boccos, and belius double (forgot to scan the double during the fight). So not too bad.

The damn item one is taking forever. When I finally completed my list of missing items, I was missing about 170-180. As of right now, its down to 18 :) . Its mostly just careful farming with some luck. The ones i'm curious/annoyed about are where you only get the weapon once in the game, but there are 2 variants to change it into.

I believe this happens with Karol's staring weapon, you can either change it to +1 or to a sword, but you can not take both paths (til the next playthrough I'm assuming).

Another is the Forte Staff. The guides say the only plae to get it is in a Fake chest in Relewiesse Hollow. However, it has 2 variants to change into, so i'm not sure if the chest respawns to give me another one, or if I have to wait for my next playthrough.

jrmtz85
08-10-2009, 02:05 PM
Finally about to start my second playthrough. Whittled the item list down to 5 items, three of which are simply purchased (missed the first time), one is the one that needs the fake box fangs, and the last one needs "rare metal" from poseidon, but I'm tired fo tried to farm/spawn him, and then have him not drop it.

By the end of the my second play I should hopefully only have the Barbos achievement left, yay!

VinasErgoth
08-10-2009, 03:00 PM
Easiest way to get Rare Metal is to keep farming the dragon bones around Weccea. That's where I've found most of mine, and it saves doing runs of the Ex Dungeon.

Have you gotten the dog map finished 100%? I can't seem to finish it, although the whole map is blue.

jrmtz85
08-10-2009, 03:21 PM
Ah, did not know it popped up there. That will definately help a lot!

Yeah, the dog map can be tricky. I found that the areas I was missing were mostly around Deidon Hold. Just north and south of it are really small areas that can be overlooked and overlapped by other bigger ones. So they might look blue on the map, but you haven't really camped there. There's probably one or 2 there that you missed, at least that was the case with me.

How's your item hunt going?

Edit:
Have you gotten the "Trasure Hunter" title? It seems like I've opened everthing and I still can't get it. Or maybe you can't get it in the endgame, only before (in which case I'm screwed for now).

VinasErgoth
08-10-2009, 03:53 PM
Ah, I'll have a look around there later then. I think most of the items I need are the costume synths and one or two equipment pieces. I'm really not looking forward to getting the 100 fatal strikes with each character.

jrmtz85
08-10-2009, 04:19 PM
Its actually easier than I thought. I already had Yuri's, and since Judith and Repede were part of my main party constantly, they already had a lot too. Rita had a lot too because of all my grade famring (finished them off with FS), so only Karol, Raven, and Estelle were probably at 0.

Just follow the medtod i descibed above and it really should only take about 1-1.5 hours to get everyone's title.

And unless you've been literally synthesziing everyhting (I thought I was doing alot), you might be missing more than you think.

VinasErgoth
08-10-2009, 06:14 PM
Well since finishing the game, I've been making a note of what I can synthesize, marking down the materials I need and picking them up as I do other things. There really isn't much left for me to create.

I wish there was a way to find out how many FS' you've done with each character.

jrmtz85
08-10-2009, 06:43 PM
Ah, I see. I know I shoulda tracked my own stuff earlier, but it all somehwat worked out in the end.

The closest you can get to that is the total FS in your battle records. However that's for all characters combined. However you can at least keep track of how many you do each time you fight that Giganto monster outside Deidon.

VinasErgoth
08-10-2009, 07:59 PM
That's true. I was considering going on auto and just watching TV for a couple of hours. But I don't think the CPU do Fatal Strikes as often as they come up.

jrmtz85
08-10-2009, 08:46 PM
Yeah, I didn't trust the CPU to do it as fast as I can. I took my laptop with me while I played and just watched old episodes of The Office while occasionally glancing up at the screen when I heard the sound of FSs becoming available.

Plus, I was worried about the Xbox freezing up or somehting, so I'd stop to save every 10-15 mins or so.
