hey guys, bit of a problem here, i am currently in japan and have to steal one base with my created player in become a legend mode, having real difficulty stealing a base. Basically I am trying from second base to third but each time i try to steal it i hit a good ball and when i land at third base, it does not register as a steal. any idea how i can overcome this? been trying for a few hours now and its really bugging me, cos it is a fantastic game!

First off I don't mean to be rude but I think you have the wrong idea what a steal is. A steal is when a base runner steals a base and is NOT CREDITED WITH A STEAL IF THE BALL IS PUT IN PLAY! Also 2nd to 3rd is much harder than 1st to 2nd so I would go 1st to 2nd. Put your guy on lead off and get a single. use turbo if you have it.

Get a single, press "Y" twice, watch the pitch, and when it hits the catcher's mitt hold down "RT"

Yeah I forgot to add make sure you lead off as OSUBucksFan47 said.

i thought i could get a steal by hitting the ball into play, so i left the ball one my first shot and managed to get the steal straigh away.

baseball isnt big in the uk, never really been a fan but tis game is awesome!
