Fun 1K

Hey guys ,

Been on a proper achievo mop-up, kinda just maxing whatever games I have that are do-able, just wondering I've had a look through the offline 1k thread and so on but what do you'se suggest as a fun 1K (potenially time consuming) for example DiRT was a fun 1K becasue I enjoyed the game so much, and I am having alot of fun trying to get Bourne at 1K , any other games that Ii should be looking for that i can sit for a while if need be and max out?

I've been thinking of maybe bionic commando or afro samuari ?

COD4/WAW I found fun doing, sometimes tedious, but fun :)

Most people will probably disagree with me on this, but I found Lord of the Rings: Conquest to be quite fun, pretty easy 1000 to, if you boost, or if not it is still obtainable.

Thanks guys, fallout is a good option tbh - also means i dont have to buy a game :P becasue i bought that ages ago for 15 for a supermarket , i thought cant turn down such a good deal :P
And also CoD 4 I didnt event hink about that, i have as much as i possibly can on WaW ...i think :P got just under 750 , was gonna try some of the mission i missed on veteran but ended up spending an hour or so trying to shoot the general witht eh pistol , after i ogt it WaW came back out again lol :P

Fallout I think may be the solution, and might go pick up some light seeds on PoP :( get that one maxed pretty easyily tbh

edit: i rad somewhere that the LOTR servers were closed down so therefore no 1000 (it wouldnt stop me playing the game though if it was fun )

Fallout 3 is a very fun game to 1000.
CoD 4/5 on veteran are fun to 1000, since you prove you can. (only 900 myself :( )
Dynasty Warriors Gundam was also fun, if you like hack n' slash beat-em-ups. The achievements took a while, but the game lasted me quite a bit since they did.

I dont think the LOTR Conquest servers were shut down for good as games are not allowed to prevent consumers getting the full 1000 but its not a bad game also. Never a buy and repetitive but a fun little game seeing you get 1000 easy.

I always find the likes of Bully, Prince of Persia, Viking: Battle for Asgard to be fun games to play and are also pretty easy 1000's really.

Halo 3 (Not the full 1750, but enough to get past 1000, unless you are good at MP)

I know I haven't got 1000 on quite a few of those, but I do intend to :p
Only Army of Two and Prey need you to do actual boosting in their MP btw.

I found The Bourne Conspiracy & Quantum of Solace really fun.

Also if you want a fun/easy arcade; grab Golden Axe.

Bioshock is good as well as Lego Indy (liked it better than batman). I kind of liked Iron Man and Jumper was a tolerable easy 1K.

Skate is a fun 1K, multiplayer cheives can be a bit of a chore, but they always are.

Play have Skate for £4.89 ATM too.

I'd say all the Lego games, the Scene It games, CoD 2 thru 5, and the NCAA Football and Madden games. Halo 3, Gears 1 & 2 and Eat Lead aren't bad if you like shooting games. Splinter Cell, Ghost Recon and Rainbow Six are also good ones. You might not get the full 1000 in the last 3, but they were fun to play.

Even Hannah Montana and Terminator weren't that bad. :-)

Stay away from King Kong, Lost, CSI, TMNT, Monopoly & Jumper.

I enjoyed playing Viking, great hack 'n slash adventure game, and pretty easy to get 1000G, just follow a guide for the skulls!

Do not do bionic commando it is truly terrible, i rented it from LOVEFiLM and it gathered dust for a month, only got 300ish GS from it, it really drags and is not fun at all

I just finished Terminator Salvation, it was quite fun, a few frustrating parts at times, but fun, easy, fast & fun 1K :)

Mass Effect is a great 1k (plus 50 for a 400msp DLC), somewhat lengthy but every minute was fun.

Oh gimmie a rest, Gears 1 was a horrible 1K to get. Gears 2 is better.
Bionic commando was great if you could get past the hidden walls that killed you.
Left 4 Dead, all Lego games, Resident Evil 5(absolutely recommended!), Viking, and Bionic Commando was all fun +600 for me.

LOL I steeled for afro samurai , altough I realisticly dont see 1K happening for that game and also Quantum of solace - I've not had this much fun with a game in a while - I was expecting to be medicore at best :P very under-rated game :P

Quantum of Solace is a great game and a fun 1k but will require a good amount of playing multiplayer.

Just hit up ign.com and take a look at the xbox games. At the top you can choose games based on score, arcade, editors choice and so on. Choose editors choice from the list and all of those games are solid. Remember though because ign.com is paid to rate games sometimes a little money can influence their scores so make sure you check out what the fans are rating the game as well.

tales of vesperia is a fun, fairly easy, but time consuming 1k. i would also recommend civilization revolutions if you like strategy games.
