Is Condemned worth my money? I want to get it and can probably find it cheap but don't want to waste my money if it isn't good.

granted, it was one of my first 360 experiences...but i thought it was great. especially if you like jumping a lot and first person shooters--even though this is mostly a first person slasher or thumper. ;)

It has quite an interesting story, which leaves itself open to speculation once you complete it. The gameplay is pretty simple, more of a first person adventure instead of a shooter. You probably could get it pretty cheap now, so I recomend a purchase.

Without a doubt, I'm currently renting it at first I thought it'd be a typical unscary horror game.

Buy this game. It was the first game I had boughten for the 360. In fact, I bought it even before the launch date. The game is very much worth $30. It has made me jump more times than any game. I run through the FEAR game without flinching thanks to this game. It's not "monster" scary. It's scary when people come out of no where in dark places screaming "F*ck you!" and run at you with an axe.

This was one of the first games i played on the 360 and i must say it is still among one of my favorites. The storyline is good and definately was fun to play and get the crap scared out of you more than a few times. I would definately say pick up a copy to anyone out there that hasn't played it and likes this type of game.

I would recommend renting rather than buying just because I don't feel it has a lot of replay value. My son owns it and when he was here I played the first couple chapters and I plan on renting it to finish it up. However, I was not impressed enough to play it again after that.

Definitely has some scary moments so far, though.

In the light of full disclosure, I don't enjoy horror movies and so it is possible that may impact my opinion of replay value for this game...

This was the first game I bought with my 360. Great game, has a few flaws but thats a launch title. I am playing through for the 3rd time to get all the achievements and am still jumping at some parts in the game.

Right now it is going for 15-20 dollars on ebay, it is 24.99 used at gamestop and 29.99 new at gamestop. Yes, it is worth it. You will have a great time with it. If you just want the GS you could get it in a day or so you should probably just rent it.
