Becoming a Legend mode.. easy task i cant do it help? what am i doing wrong?

Ok i've had no issues playing the game or any of the tasks threw season 1 and 2. But 1 thing and i'm probably jus dumb... the task is throw out a running with your created player " try playing 2nd base" Ok my guy is a firstbaseman so i made a play on a ball and threw to first to the pitcher.. Figured all i had to do is throw a runner out by making a play. Then i tried playing 2nd base threw out like 3 or 4 guys nothing.. Do i have to use tubro to throw the guy out? Do i have to play in the outfield and throw a guy out at home? Do i have to catch a guy stealing? Its probably a real easy answer but i cant get it i keep skipping around those tasks but now i'm at japan in season 2 and i have to do it... So please someone tell me what i'm doing wrong and i stop feeling so dumb LOL

Well,when i did it all i did was put my create dplayer at second base, did some mediocre pitches until it rolled to him and threw the ball to first for the out. Like the previous poster mentioned, make sure you win :p

Just for reference, if y ou want to know if you completed the tasks neede to complete the challenge, press start while in game and look at the bottom left corner of the screen. It will say your tasks, and it will have a circle beside them. In this case it will say "throw out a runner" and "win the game". Once throwing out a runner is checked off, just win it!

Put him at second or shortstop. It should come. It's almost automatic I never had to repeat a game because they always hit the ball to my player.

My its glitching on me i have no idea... So its exactly what i thought jus throw any runner out.. I played at 2nd and won the game and made a few plays.... Yea i kept checking the pause menu and it never unlocked oh well i'll jus have to try it again i always have dumb luck so watch i'll go do it now and it will work first time thanks i just needed to make sure it was what i thought it was thanks again
