Well more of a PC Problem, really. I cant find an ethernet port on the back of my PC or on my broadband modem. I dont know what to do HELP !!!!!!!!!!!! ???

well if you dont have one youll need to get one. there MUST be one on either the pc or the router.....

well their might be a ethernet port on your modem and your pc, their just being used so you dont notice them, if not then its using usb, and i dont know of a router that uses a usb input. whats the make and model of your modem

Right. Its a speedtouch USB modem, its fitted with a USB connection, and one port for a RJ-11 Ethernet cable. Now the ethernet cable that comes in the premium is the RJ45 if im correct, well there is only a smaller phone line port on the back of my PC, 2 of em. The modem is not a router BTW

ahh thats a dsl modem, and i know nothing about dsl so hopefully someone else can help you

well give him the model number of a router that uses rj-11 and im sure he would be happy to get it, like all of them use rj-45

Yes will get a router in future , know exactly what one were gonna get but right know, i need a cheap ' fix '. Anything i dont mind a ICS or direct connection. Someone mentioned something about hubs i think i saw , somewhere, what am i looking for there ?

And we ordered 1 meg but we 2.2 meg for some reason and on ARES it took me 4 minutes to download a song. Is it the program or my connection ?

a hub or switch would be the only alternative if you wanted to use comp and xbox at same time, if you want to switch you might be able to find a rj-11 to rj-45 adapter, not sure if they make them or not though

yeah downloading is illegal and very very wrong. you should all pay for things to make the fat cats that bit fatter :D
