If I remember correctly the Beta invite is only on specially marked boxes for Crackdown and all Pre-Orders. So not everyone is guaranteed a invite. I plan on buying this game for the game itself, since I already got the invite.

after playing the demo im deffinitly getting it for the game, IMO it looks like one of the best games coming out this year.

Why the heck do people wait days in line to get one of the first systems, or play a game first, or get to see a concert before it sells out. why do they go skydiving, or to the grand canyon, etc. Its all about the experience. Wanting to be part of something or one of the first to see something. I dont want to read about everything because I would miss out on a lot of things from my first hand view. if it was secret achievements it would have been on the list with them, making it a full 1k. Hopefully it will be in DLC (it'll have to be small stuff as they cant charge for something that has achievements in it on the marketplace) but i think they'll just leave it at 900, but ya never know

we'll on gamestop.com its said for a while that specially marked boxes will contain it (along with all pre-orders) so i figured that ever after the pre-orders, that the next couple of shipments would have the code in the disc to download the beta

The game is pretty short. U can beat it easely in 12 hours with most achievements. xept 4 all 800 orbs finding (wich is retarted) story mode in like 6 hours, could be less even. So imo a waste of money cuz u could rent it.

Without the h3 beta, this game wouldnt be so hot, cuz it just isnt. I completed 1 gang and im bored with it, its the same shit over and over!

you cant do that, theres a thread on it you have to have the disc to play the beta so downloading it and giving it back wont work. besides, the game it real good i see no reason to buy it just for the beta

To be honest, I'm not going to get this game. I've heard it's incredibly easy, includes more of an RPG than Action element, mini-games are pointless, the bosses are repetitive, stupid, and easy, and that the game is only fun if you play on Co-op. Yes, it may be addicting, yes it may include Halo 3 Beta, but no, this game doesn't attract me. I want a fun game by myself, with the wonderful addition of Co-op, not Co-op is the only way to go. Gears may be the only way to go with Co-op, but can be fairly challenging alone.

Instead, I will vote for my friend, who is buying it just for the Beta. Hope he likes the game . . . Or he will have just wasted $60 on something he could have gotten for free . . .

I didn't get it for the beta.

The game was much shorter than expected though and had easy achievements (except the 300 secret orbs). It gets a little repetitive, but I love the sandbox environment and co-op play.

I wouldn't consider this a game you sit at home and play alone for hours and hours. It's the online part with friends that really extend the replayability. You can waste hours doing basically nothing that has to do with the story or well... anything :p

I bought it for the demo, because I didn't particularly enjoy the demo for crackdown. As it turns out, I spent hours last night playing it. It was a nice surprise. Hopefully the H3MD will be released before I finish the game! :woop:
