Ffxi pc to 360

Hey guys im new to the forum and i have been looking threw all the threads and cant seem to find the answer to this question.(so if it was already posted sorry) but my question is - i played this game in '06 when i had it on the pc and now im thinking of getting it for 360. Do i need to buy a keyboard for the game or does it just make game that much easier?

You don't need one, but it is helpful for chatting and making macros.

thanks - also any idea how much memory this thing eats up ... i think i have like 10 gb left i thats enough but just curious

I haven't played since around January, but at that time with all the expansions & updates it was getting close to 10GBs.

well i started it up yesterday and am playing on the Fenrir server. LOL took like 6 hrs altogether for the downloads. since the keyboards i have arent able to work with the 360 iv been using the remote. and actually i like the way i cntrl the character with the remote. That texting piece that is added to the remote can that help? as far as hotkeys and talking with other players?

LB and RB are used for Macros on the controller, which is the equivalent of the CTRL key, if I remember correctly.
