Best character for Attack on everythings/ mage like abilities?

hey guys, i made a stupid mistake by starting with a temple gurdian who is level 19 and i dislike ther play style.

Is there any characters who have decent aoe's?

Seraphim has a good AOE attack "Flaring Nova" although it takes forever to do decent damage with it.

High Elf would be your best bet for AOE attacks, the Inquisitor has a good one as well that sucks a group of enemies into a vortex and causes them to smash into each other and take damage.

If you really really want AOE type attacks I would go with the High Elf.

I totally disagree. If you want variety of AoE; then sure, go with the high elf. But in my opinion the Inquisitor is better as his aoe spells do more damage per unit than the high elf, are more accurate than the high elf; and cast faster than the high elf. Plus; Inquisitors can dual wield, thus doubling the potential boost to intelligence and spell base attacks that can be gained throughs staff use. But it is all in how you USE the characters.
TG can deal a TOOOON of damage AoE. Only catch; DoT. So better build for defense. (devout guardian / source warden dual focus is a nice build.)

I agree with you I have a level 30 Temple Guardian, unfortunately the way I've built him he is a perfect support character but can't survive with too many enemies around but with one other person he is very good to have as he is very defensive but not much offense
also I personally like the inquisitor

REALLY? your robot should have icy evenessance, which on my lvl 15 kills everything on the screen and fast.... so AoE would be best on him.... high elf blows, seraphim is GOD TANK, dryad is good as well for throwing items aka AoE
