How hard is this completion?

I checked mygamercard.net and only 102 people have 200/200 for this game. Is it because it is very difficult or is it not a very popular game? The game looks very interesting and I'm thinking of buying it soon but I need to know how hard the completion is.

Personally, I think it's a very tough 200, mainly 'Peggle Professor' and 'Doctor of the Peggle Arts'. First of all, you'll have to repeat levels over and over again to beat some of the challenges and clear some of the levels completely, and second, a lot of the time it comes down to luck. I've only got 3 challenges left, but right now, they seem impossible. I'll just keep plugging away and I'll get it eventually.

Not that I'm accusing you, but if for any reason someone would be basing their decision on buying this on how easy the achievements are, then it'd be a very foolish thing to do. This is one of the most enjoyable XBLA games out there, guaranteed Top 10, and it'd be a shame if someone missed out on it because it has one of the toughest sets of achievements.

I still want explodious fame. :)

its doable, just practice your freeballs. I have just 5 levels to go (100% completion) for my last achievement. Just a matter of time. :)

I agree with the other two that it's a challenge but definitely doable and a GREAT game. Looking at your gamercard, I see that you have completed a lot of tough games, so you should be able to do this one as well.

As long as you persist and do not become frustrated, the 200 will come.

Is definitely one of the best games on XBLA. Regardless of the achievements, I'd wholeheartedly recommend buying it...

I'd definately recommend getting it. it took ages for me to complete it and i'm now going through it again on my girlfriends profile. Some of the levels are a nightmare to clear but if you keep at it you get there eventually. 70% luck 30% skill i'd say. one of my favourate arcade games i've bought though.

It's very fun, but it can also make you cry like a sad little baby. Best not to play it for extended periods while pissed.

I wouldn't call it tough - the full 200 will come... it just takes a lot of patience and persistence. Hence why so few people have the full 200.

To stand a chance you will need to perfect the freeball shot and also hope to get a bit of luck in the later levels/challenges. I have been down to 9 pegs with 2 balls left, had a lucky bounce and managed to clear up.

It's a very fun game - to give you a time estimate it took me anywhere between 2-10 hours to clear some of the levels (8.1 onwards)

I have spent a total of 120 hours and I have just one level to clear for the full 200.
