getting all the achievements

ok so i beat the whole game one type through and then i went back and just beat it again but for some reason i didnt get the third and fourth propagaanda reports the golden bird award and the melee master. could this be that i moved my xbox after saving adn playing and it resest the time and i accidentaly started a new game and then i just went back to the saved games and continued from there??? this really sucks cause all those achievements are like 110 points an7y help would be appreciated

I would be inclined to begin each chapter again, to pick up the remaining achievements. It sounds like you may have a corrupt save there, or as you suggested, there is something wrong with the stored data. It shouldnt take too long re-visiting the chapters again.

I know what you mean mate, I need to re-play Kameo again, as Im missing the final achievement and cant go back to collect it on my original save! Doh!

I got all birds and all metals and was play chapter at a time and i didnt get it. I dont know either and I dont feel like playing it over again.

yea i have all the silver bird awards and im positive i got all the metal i wouldnt have continued if i didnt

i got the same problem, i got all the birds and metal pieces and i didnt got the awards for them, im not planning on playing it over again

I missed one bid, one metal and the fire arm one. f it i'll wait for the 2nd one heh

yeah some of the acheivements are "screwy". e.g. i just got the finished game with only melee weapons... now im still only halfway through level 10. huh? what i WAS predicting tho was that i would get found all melee weapons in game achievement. i imagine (and desperately hoping) that when i finish the game, it will give me the other achievement. never heard of this happening before, but it's happened to me. i even checked my gamer card on the web, and yep, it says i've finished the game with melee only. hmmmm, i hope in future MS and devs work harder on failsafes and other measures to avoid glitches in achievements

They give you the Melee award before the last level because without it, the last level would be absolutely rock hard, especially when you tackle them huge mo fo's before you move in to the final barn.

But still, the metal pieces and birds have to be picked up "in order" (from first to last level). Otherwise, you'll miss out on the achievements.
