This game is such a disappointment

I LOVED Virtua Tennis 3 and how SEGA have managed to completely cock up 2009 is beyond me. I swear to God that the graphics have actually got WORSE since 2007, honestly the player models are hidious and the created players and generic amatuer opponents are disgusting. The online play is absolutely shocking, the lag is just ridiculous.

What pisses me off more than anything tough is that I spent over 12 hours on the World Tour only for my player to seemingly get stuck permanently at rank 146 on the Pro circuit.

I still love the core gameplay but the overall presentation of this game is unacceptable.

SEGA should not complain if people were to ask for a refund.

I agree with you 100%. I hate to say it, because I absolutely loved VT3. The gameplay seems way too easy right from the start, plus all the players look the same. Not to mention the horrible, slow progression through the boring amateur tour.

It was an easy game concept to improve on, but it looks like Sega screwed it up.
