final boss glitch

OK i'm doing my 3rd ending and whisked through maybe a bit to fast and not have much ammo
but when i want to use to the axe on him i cant get to him cus his legs are not getting stuck
i am staying on the center grill but he just keeps swiping me left to right or a forward spike not the two legged attack like in the frist two times iv'e done with out dying but he has beaten 4 of 5 times now and it Hurts!!lol

Oh i just wanted to add whats the crack over only having five save slots in a game with 5 endings the days of 120gb Hds is here
Is just to test us at our saving games abliltys lol

You dont really need ammo, but it helps if you have any. If your low as you have said you will have to get used to his attack strategy and get in as close as you can to weaken him just keep moving around and persevere. You will get him eventually, personally I think that this game is very poor, just approaching the end of my 2nd playthrough to clean up all of the endings, regarding the save slots as with all games get used to just using 2 slots so that you can always fall back on one.

On my normal playthrough I never used ammo against a boss. The AX was my friend. I did all the save methods for the other endings on Hard using the laser pistol...so I only killed all the bosses using melee once each. It's all about holding down the left trigger and using your 'B' button to dodge then striking with a heavy strike 'X' and maybe a couple of light strikes 'A'.

You have to damage the boss first a bit before he does the overhead attack which gets him stuck. Best bet would be unleashing all ammo into him at the start of the battle so he starts doing it, when he gets stuck he's pretty much done for.
