Horde Size - I think I got glitched?

I see a warning on the ach guide that there's one that can be glitched.. I don't know if I missed it, tbh..

So here's my question.

I have 3 left on that guide (The other ones are not where they are said to be, so I can only assume I got them) - I do not have the helmet..

And my horde size is 25.

Am i supposed to hit 45 as my max WITH the Helmet for +5? Or am I supposed to hit 45 as my max BEFORE the helmet for +5 and then the helmet takes me to +50? The guide makes this a tad confusing and I'm worried I'll have to -hope- my 2nd play through I don't screw up and miss a potential glitch.

I think mines is glitched too im stuck at 40.

Anybody whos making a run throu and could possibly get a video of where the positions are showing a route from the teleports would be good!

You will get 45 minions overall from collecting all the totems, and with the helmet that makes it 50. So the maximum amount of minions you can have is 50.

there is a missable right first time you you can port back to the tower. Once you step in the gate, the one in nordburg disappears. Will class it as a missable, got a PC version so making a map and guide to them.

I found the minion totem pole at the beginning of the game when you shove the explosive cart towards nordberg front door on the first curb where the archers were it is in the rockpile, stop the cart there and blow up the cart is there. It is there just found it.

Thats the second one in Nordberg isnt it? I already got that one, I think its the one that disapears that ive missed maybe :D

i believe there are two ways the glitch works. one is that you capture the first minion totem while a cutscene is going. you will capture it but it will not increase your squad cap. secondly im not sure if this one is true but if you step into the gate and leave without capturing the first one it will just disappear.
